So, I’ve been having a rough as heck couple of weeks.
My dog has been very ill and may require surgery, I’ve been busy as heck at work, my grandfather is not doing well and I’ve had to do more care for him than usual this week, found out my dad requires two urgent surgeries and extremely sick myself through all this.
Today was my first day off in awhile and I told my family I was staying in my bed (short of caring for my grandfather and giving the dog his meds and checking him over). Mom went out this morning and did her usual thrift store shopping.
She came home, knocked on my door and said she got me a little something and hoped it was “the right ones” and hoped I didn’t have any. She found a bunch of ponies and bought them for me today (all for $5!!!). It turns out the 30-ish years of pony shopping my mom finally knew which gens I collect.
It was super sweet and I’m so appreciated that she thought of me. Turns out I did actually needboth G1’s and the BAB Starlight, but the princesses may end up being upgrades for me.
Everything is in pretty good shape and I think Yum Yum and Banana Surprise will clean up rather nicely. Their paint is all pretty pristine. Just hair needs a bit of conditioning and cleaning.
