My first ever custom

This is my very first custom MLP, Ohtori. She has been rehaired in a bright shade of pink, with short bangs at the front and has a tie as her symbol, her eyes were also repainted blue.

She is made from the queen of the flutter ponies, Rosedust (year 4) , who is yellow with pink hair, and pink eyes.

Ohtori was my very first custom, and also my very first full body repaint ^^: it took about 15 coats and its still not exactly the way i would like it. (never repainting in white ever again !) Apart from the full body repaint, she also has a new symbol, the school tie from Ohtori gakuen (Shoujo Kakumei Utena) (yes, im a fangirl) and bright blue eyes.

I learned lots from making her, which is the main thing I guess. Rehairing is time consuming and painful, white is not your friend.. and painting eyes is really frustrating! ^_________^

but im glad with the way she came out, especially for a first try.

I think you did very good for a first time. She looks very pretty.

Full body re-paints I think are one of the most frustrating things about customizing. I think an airbrush would be the way to go if you plan on doing that a lot.

She looks lovely. Loving the hair do!

I use SEMCO acrylic when i paint ponies, not necissarily because its fantastic, but because its all my local craft store has! ^^:
