Surely someone can help poor ol' Minty out!​

This swap will have us all creating handmade My Little Pony Christmas ornaments for our fellow members here at the trading Post. They can be sewn, clay, felt, paper pieced… you are only bound by your own imagination! Pick up your favourite Pony and let her be your muse!

You may have up to 3 trading partners, but keep in mind that each item, being a handcrafted masterpiece, will take some time to complete. You want to give your trade partners something to add to their own Christmas tree, and be part of their yearly holiday rituals, so make sure to send something you would be proud to receive yourself!

Minty can't wait to get started! She wants to know more!

To enter this swap, please adhere to the following requirements:

You must have been a board member 3 months or longer.
You must have at least 50 posts.
You need to be at least 17 years old.
You need to have 5 positive feedbacks or more.

If you miss one of these requirements, please contact me to see if a sponsor can be found. Also, if you are an older, established member willing to sponsor someone newer, please let me know so I can partner you up! If you are willing to ship internationally, please indicate this to me when you send in your address. I’ll request these once sign up is over.

Once sign ups are complete, I’ll assign partners and send you a list of your swap buddy/buddies and addresses. Part of this swap will include sending your swap buddy/buddies some fun extras, like candy or small goodies. Spending limit on extras will be $5 –7, to keep this affordable for all. And make sure to wrap it, so it’s more festive!

When you sign up, please be sure to compile a list of your favourite Ponies for your swap partner to choose from. If you have an Original Character, make sure to provide pictures of them for reference. We’ll set up a Wishlist thread so everyone’s preferences can be listed out.

Don’t forget: we’re all lovers of both art and Ponies, so please make sure to post pictures of the awesomeness you receive and let us know where it come from!

I want to participate but I don't know if the postal strike will be over by December... it feels unlikely. I also don't have enough feedback. :(

Thanks for letting me participate you guys! ^^ I definitely want to join this one! I just started learning to sew, and I haven't had the opportunity to use clay in a long time either. I'd love to try out new mediums. Is the $5-7 just the spending limit for extras, or for the entire project?
 
The $5-7 is for the little extras. It could be anything you fancy: candy, pretty notecards, keychain, you name it!

Should we list allergies so the partners will know about like peanuts and all that. Like I can handle perfumes and such.
