She is super cute! The original puff ponies are perfectly fine to wash as normal. I have always had success just washing, air drying and brushing to get the poof back. But I agree with Jewel, you never know what may happen to a custom pony. The material used is likely not the exact same as the originals and may react completely differently. Not to mention you may accidently wash off whatever paint the customizer used while making her. Your best bet would probably be just to give her a good brushing and enjoy her as is, she is totally adorable as she is anyway!

Oh my gosh . You guys are right . I didn't even notice it was a custom ! I was just so excited to find a puff I didn't bother to look close enough to it . I know nothing about customs . Now I have a while new set of questions jeez lol . Is the original cutie mark still underneath or do people usually wipe it clean first ? I'm wondering if I clean it off will the original cutie mark still be there , will it ruin the pony itself if I try to wipe it off or should I just keep the custom as is ... oh boy . I've never picked up a custom before . I'm clueless .

Here's what she originally looked like, it looks like she might have been rehaired as well as re-painted:

Judging by where the hearts are, it's entirely possible that the original paint is still under there, but it's impossible to say for sure. If you do try to to remove the custom paint, just be extremely careful not to take off the original symbol paint underneath it. :)
