For me its Paradise, Sea Breeze and Hula Hula...I had passed them over before because I'm not an orange person and I wasn't too interested in Hula's color scheme and white So-softs get grimy and bleck so fast (my Gusty sure did) then...I saw very good pictures of them, one on the Arena and I never realized just how pretty they are. As an 80s-90s kid I wore a LOT of neon and they have unique and nice symbols and the hair blends so nicely with each other I think I need them in my herd.
So what about you? anyone caught your eye who made you reconsider lately?

Well, for me it was Sprinkles. I bought her off ebay because she was cheap, I just wanted a new pony. But she became so much more than that. She became my best friend. We take naps together sometimes, watch tv together, heck, I even carried her around my local comic con, and her close up to every thing so she could see! Also at comic con we met the voice of Jem! It was awesome and Jem said She was so cute and gave me a hug! Never did I know that one pony that I sort of wanted would turn into my best friend! when you pick her up you can feel the love ooze right off her. where as I wanted Firefly really badly, and I barely pick her up any more. I still love her, but you just can't feel love oozing off of her. She is one of the many toys I just look at.

NSS Shady. Firstly I just bought her because she was cheap. She got bad pen mark in her leg but it came of with nail polish (non acetone) and then I put it on my shelves. She is right one the edge so I can see her clearly when I pass it. After watching her sometime I realized how pretty she is <3.

At first I wasn't interested in ponies that weren't in the cartoon, but now I've expanded my horizons. I'd never noticed how pretty the Rainbow Curl ponies were until I saw some pretty photos of them, and now I want them! They're really pretty. Also, the Tropical ponies.

On the opposite end, as in ponies everyone likes but I don't, I don't like Mimic. I find her colour scheme and pose pretty ugly.

I'm also starting to look twice at Daddy Sweet Celebrations. I swore I'd never like any Daddy Pony other then the handsome Sunbright and Berrytown, but Celebrations is quite handsome...and cheaper then Big Brothers

I was not a huge fan of the flutter ponies because I prefer the thicker original body styles and you can never find them with their wings so they just look incomplete but I found a seller on ebay who makes stunning recreation wings that are identical to the original wings and they are so beautiful. Now I have a new appreciation for my flutters because they look so pretty with the wings. :flutter2:

(I just love Star Catcher II best of all the g3 pegasus... pegasi... whatever. So purdy!)

I wasn't super keen on the Twinkle Eyed Ponies. They seemed oddly mechanical with their crystalline eyes. I then convinced myself they were cyborgs and their eyes were bionic so they became my favourites.

Yeah well you won't be so keen on em when they start speakin like Arnold Schwarzenegger and shooting deadly lasers at your kneecaps.

I think that's the best explanation for Twinkle-Eyed Ponies ever. I've always loved them most of all the ponies, but now I'm imagining steampunk cyborg versions and it's just super cool.

There have been a few. Tickle was one of the first ponies I got as a kid. I liked her, but she wasn't one of my favorites or one that I would have chosen. Magic Star too, and a couple others. I didn't play with them as often as I did my favorite ponies. But they were a couple of the ones that were taken. When I was replacing them, they were two of them I was most excited about to get, and paid the asking price rather than risk losing them to a higher bidder. I look at them now and think about playing with them as a kid, and they are part of my favorites. Other Rainbow ponies I wasn't too bent on having to have. But now I want all of the Rainbow ponies, and one of my absolute favorites is Sky Dancer.

Winter Snow, Baby Quackers and Rhythm And Rhyme. I never even knew about RAR but she grew on me since she looked like my kind of pony. Quackers was very dingy but she cleaned up very nicely and now I love her so much <3
And Winter Snow, *sigh*, I thought she was very boring and was a repro of Minty only with different hair and symbol. She grew on me only to see she was HTF. I can dream, right?

The whole G4 line! I absolutely detested the G4 line when it was released, they just didn't look like proper ponies. Anyhow last year I did a private swap with an arena member and I had to shop G4 ponies for her wish list and the more I looked at them they started to grow on me and now I have started collecting them myself!

I only really started liking G4 when I started watching the cartoon, even though I had a Twilight Sparkle. She was the first ever G4 I got.
