Whilst I do like all of those gimmicks, I didn’t choose the 3D symbols/metal/gem symbols. Looking at my collection maybe it’s the gimmick I would put at the bottom. I do like those though!

By the way, are these mainly thinking of G1 ponies? There’s a bunch of G4 gimmicks I wouldn’t go for

Yeah, these are G1. I think I don't like the sparkly plastic ones so much, but I like all ponies really.

My favorite isn’t on the list (TAF/cascading symbols ), but long hair is always pretty and as long as it’s good quality tinsel I like it Some of the 3D symbols are cute, like the princesses, but I don’t really like the pocket ones

I like Bubblefish, I think its a cute idea! Though in practice it unbalances the pony, I think. I added TAF to the poll

I like the idea of them, and bubblefish and I think her name is bunny hop are both cute but something about the string just hanging there in front doesn’t look as nice to me. I didn’t know it unbalanced them, maybe they should’ve added a weight on the other side or something

Im weak for clear sparkly anything so thats gatta be my top answer. I know its not on the list and probs doesnt serve the research but honorable mention, my second favorite gimmick is Soda Sipping ponies, so clever!!!

I wonder about the string, myself. But then I think about what they could have used instead, like a chain? Might have gone rusty. Or a clear plastic thread might have been weaker. Not sure :/
For all I know they could have weights. The symbol is only on the display side, isn't it? I have only seen them in pictures

That’s true, ive also only seen them I’m pics before so they might have. A magnet would’ve been cute but 100% sure little kids would’ve lost them haha

TAF is my favorite of those; I have only seen the 3D in pictures so I don’t know if it would grow on me…

not a fan of 3D symbols in all gens honestly, i guess for me it tends to overwhelm the design? gem symbols depends on how it's used - i find most of the G1s with them are similar in that they're too bulky and flashy, just reminds me of plastic costume party rings or something but on G3s like wondermint, for example, i can really love a gem symbol!

with that exception, i picked literally everything on the poll because i'm out of control with my favorites being maybe TAF and clear bodies!
