Post a random fact about yourself

I LOVE those Mary Jane candies, but I don't see them very often. :(

I've always loved watching Shirley Temple movies

I'm good at memorizing stuff, but only things I'm interested in. Therefore, it's sadly not very useful when it comes to school.

I only know english, and I just started learning french. My dad knows 7 languages, but he's NOT a good teacher so I'm on my own!

I don't have a favorite TV show, but a few that I like include the Simpsons (the earlier seasons are my favorites), Bob's Burgers, and oddly, Toddlers and Tiaras!

in addition to working on becoming a published author I also write fanfic =^-^=

A cat owner and a Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends fan! YAYS! I need you to come live with me, mlpgems! I'm not the best housekeeper, so you'd have lots of fun at my house!

I've been a tarot card reader since I was 16. I'm certified with several tarot associations and even made my living at it once. I later trained as a palmer reader with a Lakota Indian who had learned it from Anton LaVey of all people.

I no longer will take money for a reading (and haven't for about 15 years) but get gifts from people who just insist on giving me something. Once I got a stuffed Elvis, another time a turtle (which is funny, because my grandfather always said that was my spirit animal). Still have her too. Fatima Loopsadozy. Good turtle. And I got paid in MLPs once. Best payment ever.

@Ology I like Keeping Up Appearances too.
"The Bouquet residence lady of the house speaking!"

I'm very afraid of earthquakes. I experienced a really bad one when I was 3 and the epicenter was near my house. My family was ok and my house wasn't red tagged or anything.
When I think one is happening; I freak out and just start running out of buildings.

There's nothing wrong with having a blankie. I had one my mom made me when I was a baby until I was 17. I only got rid of it because I was heading off to college soon and was worried how people in the dorm would react.

The minute I get home I change into my PJs and I'm very fussy about my PJs. I'll only wear short sleeve, silky tricot fabric nightgowns that hit mid-thigh and don't have any lace or designs on it. Now, I CAN sleep in a big t-shirt or something like that in a pinch, but I don't sleep nearly as well. I wear the same nightgowns year-round 'cause I'm a hot sleeper.

I hate Tinker bell I always had don't ask me why but I did
I LOVE THE GRINCH
I love LOVE LOVE SNOW to bad in Alabama it does not snow much.
I hate the beach due to the sand and heat but love the Ocean itself.
I wish I could travel back in time and be a kid again.

I have been raising chickens for nearly nine years, beginning with my lovely Easter Egger Chick-A-Dee.I still have her; she is incredibly healthy and, aside from the occasional impacted crop, has never developed the health problems frequently seen in chickens. She only quit laying last year, although she still tries to provide us with pale green eggs.

She is also a huge ham, and will happily pose whenever a camera is present.

Since veterinarians aren't specifically trained to treat chickens, owners are often forced to research and treat illnesses or injuries themselves. (Referring to vets when in doubt, of course.)
Over the years I have treated bumblefoot, impacted and sour crops, eggbinding, worms, scaly leg and mite infestations, abscesses, general infections and heat stress.
Out of all my attempts, only one bird died - due to bumblefoot - when I didn't catch the infection quick enough.

Aside from basic health care, I also breed, hatch, and butcher various breeds of chickens.

Sorry for the rambling, but needless to say I adore these weird birds and they play a big part in my life. :ponylove:
