Hi! So I heard a while ago that you're supposed to mark an "altered" pony (i.e. rehaired, repaired, etc.), but is there a most common way to do so? Or is it more up to preference?

Thankful for answers!

It depends on the collector. Some Mark them with a ribbon or something around their necks, some go as far as to mark on hooves.

If it’s a pony you’ve fixed up for your own collection, I wouldn’t worry too much about it. I’ve cleaned up and rerooted a few in my collection, I know who they are so it’s easy enough to say to a buyer that I rerooted. I find once I’ve put TLC into a pony I never forget which ones I’ve worked with.
