So, you know we have the best luck ever. R2 had a car accident. He is extremely upset but, he is okay and the other people are okay. The car...well lets just say it looks pretty awful. So, I am going to have to drive him to work every day and pick him up as well as, take him to the bank in the middle of the day. It appears that the evil of the universe felt we needed yet another thing to add to the mountain of stress we already had. Joy of all joys. We don't have the money to fix his car because of Maki's constant medical bills. He also had a ticket that we are going to have to deal with hopefully Defensive Driving will be an option.
When are things going to improve I wonder? He says he can't figure out how it happened. He was paying attention and there were no cars when he pulled out, but apparently there was one he never saw. I feel so bad for him. We are under so much stress. This has to be the worst timing ever. At least the police officers were nice to him and that I appreciated. I am just so happy nothing bad happened to R2 that would have been awful.

I am sorry he had accident but I am happy no one was hurt. I hope the universe will cut y'all a break and there will be a light at the end of the tunnel. *hugs*

Yikes! I'm just glad no one was hurt anyway.

I know I need a break but it seems all I am getting is a break on the top of my head. Man!

I'm so so sorry hun ): I'm glad everyone is okay but I know how stressful accidents are. My boyfriend just finished physical therapy from the car accident he had in July. I hope everything can be worked out quickly!

Wow, that stinks! I'm just so glad he's okay. What on earth is going on that we all have such rotten luck? Quick... we need as many lucky charms as possible. Four leaf clovers and whatnot! We need good luck pronto...

I can make a good look gris gris bag for you?

I put all my Faith in Jesus Christ and He has not failed me yet. We are just in a season of hardship. If there is one thing I have learned being a Christian is that troubles come, but through prayer and faith and patience good things come after and incredible miracles. Through the years of my life, I have had many seasons of hardship and I have learned so much and come out with wonderful blessings. I have seen God do amazing things for both R2 and me. We live in this world and the world will provide its sad and bad times. Faith will keep us strong. For example, my dad once again is cancer free. He had liver cancer and it is gone again. We all know that when it is his time to go, he will, but for now he has been given a life extension. All I need is prayer and faith and nothing else...oh and time to heal.

Oh no :( I'm glad nothing super bad happened and it is only a car that is damaged.
I am super happy to hear yous dad has doing okay!! Not something bad without something good too :)

That's awful :( As people have pointed out already, at least no one was hurt, honestly when it comes right down to it, that's the most important thing! Thank goodness no one was hurt.

R2 did get hurt. The pain showed up the next day and he has been in PT for a while now. His back was all swollen. It was awful. He is doing okay now though. At least it wasn't a really bad injury that required hospitalization and surgery.

Oh, I'm so sorry,Tulagirl. I hope he feels better soon.

He is doing much better, but sometimes when he gets home from work he fusses about his back. That would be normal as he has been busy all day and pushing it.

That is awful. A lot of the times in car accidents, people get bruising around their seat belt and neck. At least nothing broken... but I would suggest he take it easy for a while, neck and back pain can sometimes show up weeks or months later.

Yes this is true @cutekitten
I think he is going to be okay, but he is going to have some ongoing issues with his back that will need attention. He is much better. At first we thought it was a fractured back, but then realized it was not thank goodness. I have fractured my back and didn't want to see him go through that one.

Oh no, I'm so sorry @tulagirl

Jayson had the same thing with his accident a few months ago. It was pretty minor and everything seemed fine but the pain set in after a couple days. After that it was lots and lots of physical therapy! He finally got the all clear to stop PT a few weeks ago, but of course there's lots of stretches and such to do at home still. Hopefully poor R2 recovers relatively quickly too!
