Random Pony Thoughts

I just learned about the Totsy fakies, and...gosh, I want one really badly. I am in love with those diabolical smiling eyes.

My headcanon is that they are dangerous protective spirits who will wreck anyone who endangers the herd. They pretend to be ponies so as to not freak the others out.
 
I have a craving for more sea ponies, pegasus and sea themed ponies in my herd. I think that'll be my focus for part of the year.

On the new episode of season 7 today DONT WORRY NOT A HUGE SPOILER OR ANYTHING!

Gusty was show on a cover of a book Twilight was going to read where she and a army of Unicorn save the land from Grogar the Goat. The book was called Gusty the Great!

I was about to say I think all the unicorn were captured I think. Didn't Meagan sing where have the unicorns gone or something like that?

So I got a small brushable Luna in a trade the other day. I was brushing out her hair when I notice her eyes and my fakie Totsey Cheeky Pants have the same eyes.
My first though was OH GODS she has FAMILY NOW.
 
Are the newest ponies the result of Hasbro finally deciding to listen to the people wanting more variation in poses but going a little too far, do you think?

I finally got a G4 pony a few months ago. I couldn't believe how small she was compared to my G3's. I honestly have so much respect for people who customise them.

Looking at the trends in body and eye size across the generations (but discounting G2 because I don't have one for comparison) I predict that g5 are going to be entirely blind bag sized ponies with eyes bigger than their heads. Holograms will be used to achieve this effect.
 
GoH Cheese Sandwich is a perfect candidate for a Knight Shade custom.

I still temped to trade heads from one rarity to a new g4.5 rarity. They keep staring at me from my shelf. I am in a really weird mood to play Frankenstein.

It's quite ridiculous, I think. I don't collect G4 but I found a blind bag Skywishes that was on special for one dollar and looking at her paint job I certainly wouldn't want to pay the full price (NZ$6 while you can get a brushable for about $8-$20 depending on how gimmicky it is) especially if I was wanting to collect a lot of them.

I vaguely remember getting a G3.5 blind bag pony and being rather disappointed in its quality compared to the ones you bought in packs where you could see it before buying. I know those were more expensive than the blind bags, but they also had a lot of funny accessories so I'd would have thought it would have balanced itself out.:blink:
