G1 random rambling about oakley

i think i finally pinned down what's so off about his design to me... that long tail! well, also the fact that his ears are barely visible and his antlers come out of his head like oven mitts i love how off he looks, i don't think i'd get he was a moose if i wasn't told. i guess hair is pretty important to the MLP brand. i'd love to see another moose someday, or even an elk.

I think hasbro just sticks hair on anything they can find. I think now that I see his "oven mitts" I cant un-see it. Someone long time ago told me that Edgar the elephant looked like donald trump now I just giggle when I see mine. lol I do have him and hes well, taking over the kitchen in the paradise estate there's a moose on the loose.

lol me neither! i was just so confused by the idea that they wouldn't give an animal ears i had to look into it. i mean, it's not like ears and antlers would clutter up a face too much,,,

lol if it's an ungulate it's fair game for long luscious locks. i know it'll never happen but i really want a goat with brushable beard someday. i mean i know they'll somehow screw up the sculpt and i won't like it but i do hope it happens XP

lol i know hasbro is probably hesitant to include beards on their main girl characters in their franchise marketed to little girls but i really want unicorns with little beards too.
if i had to guess about wooly, it's probably some combination of being expensive, hard to style, or hasbro just genuinely hating good ideas. i assume the curls would eventually fall out if it was curled but even if the hair was straight he'd look like an angora goat so i'd still count that as a win

I just found out too that Oakley has ears. I guess it’s one of those things you don’t know unless you’ve seen lots of Oaklies(?) or actually have an Oakley

The only MLP to not have protruding ears is Cutesaurus. Oakley's are just obscured by the antlers.
