It's been a while since I've been able to actually hunt up something decent at the Fleamarket. Unfortunately, a lot of the times, we've sellers out there that buy up ponies just to resell at outrageous prices with their glorified claims at how 'rare' and uncommon a Peachy with sharpie scribbles all over it is.
It didn't surprise me to find the usual two sellers out in the Fleamarket. As usual, the one had an over priced G1 baby (yellow with teal hair, snail as symbol). I wasn't going to pay $5 for it. That's for sure. Nor was I interested in her collection of G3s. G3s don't hold much light for me.
I wasn't, for that matter, going to pay $16 for a Masquerade under her used-car-talk of how rare it is. She had a box of $2 ponies, but they were mostly G3s or G1s in poor condition. Most everything was over priced. A Wigwam with virtually no symbols and a huge chunk of cancer for $10. Didn't float my boat so I didn't get them.
Ironically, talking to a woman who also has a big basket of fakes and G3s, I ran into an old MLPTP collector friend! Krissy. We chatted it up and decided to skim the FleaMarket in hope of finding something. Alas. Outside what was prementioned (neither of us willing to fork over that much) - or for the manky ponies that we doubt could ever be cleaned.. We passed.

There was a woman there that asked me to come back the next day. She had a case full of them. She's a nice lady and she's a good hearted person. Unfortunately in the clatter of a birthday, she forgot to grab them. Fortunately for me, she has my contact info and won't sell or show them to anyone but me
So that's a plus.
Well anyway. What was ironic was the fact that Saturday (next day) my mom n' I decided to roam the fleamarket. I had no hopes in seeing anything new. Krissy and I already roamed the fleamarket and turned up nadda. Well lo and behold. I go to one guy who wasn't there yesterday, and he has 2 ponies! I got Twinkle Eye Speedy (minor trim on a plug or three on the purple portion of her mane.) for $2, and Sweet Heart Sister FlowerBurst (good shape, with earring) for $2
It was turning into a pretty darn good day. Most of the fleamarket was negative for ponies. However my mom pointed at a low shelf... A shelf I had searched yesterday with Krissy! I was shocked. There. Where I had searched yesterday, was a basket filled with ponies! I was ...blown away. I quickly asked him how much he wanted for them, and he said a $1 for the big ones, and 50 cents for the small ones. I passed on picking up Sundance and Bowtie, as I have enough of them and thought of giving other collectors (or resellers) a shot at them. I did grab Rainbow Curl pony Raincurl for $1, and Mail Order Rice Krispy Christmas Baby and Flutter Pony Tropical Breeze for 50 cents each! I was about to leave his booth when in the back, I saw plush legs of a purple..thing. I look, and it's a Plush of Blossom. She was my most expensive find of the day for $3
So over all, I think I did pretty good. If that isn't good, a friend of mine sent me a whole bunch of ponies - Some include SS Fifi, Tex, Majesty, Baby Fleecy, Starbow, and many others ...
