Re-hair options

I recently acquired a hairless baby Lickety Split. She’s not in great shape, her symbols are badly faded and she might have a touch of regrind(or just stains). Anyway, I want to attempt to re-hair her but the options are just too great! Should I go with something close to her original color? Should I opt for a darker pink? Should I throw caution to the wind and go wild? If so, what color do I choose? Anyone have suggestions?

P.S. if I do complete a re-hair of her original color, would anyone be willing to touch up her symbols so we can fully restore her to her former glory?

Following this, because I have an adult Lickety Split with cut hair and was wondering the same thing. Seems like there could be a lot of creative possibilities with that one. Also interested in where people get their re-hairing supplies!

Honestly it depends on what you want out of this. Are you planning on keeping her yourself? Are you want to resell her?

I love doing alternate re-hair projects (I have several on the go right now myself). I have become very attached to these projects but I do sell them and have given a few away to friends here.

If you are looking to resell her, I’d suggest just going with her “normal” colour & touching up her paint. If your keeping her do what you like. Change her completely or go the complete of restoration route.

yeah some people dont like rehairs. From what I learned. Most want ponies orginal everything. So I guess it depends on if you keep her or not.

That’s my biggest problem! Lol. If I do the original color I’d probably end up selling her. If I choose a different color, I’ll probably keep her.

Im mostly debating between these colors. I like the bigger contrast between body and hair if I choose the raspberry sorbet. The other is supposedly her original color (or at least the adult Lickety’s original)

@LittleFlurry - it’s Dollyhair.com a website where you can order exact matching hair for MLP.

@JadeCade - Her exact match is “Pussycat.” If you don’t want to go with exact match and want something a little different but keeping the same idea (still pink). Why don’t you mix and match various pinks to get kind of an ombré effect?
