Has anyone ever purchased any good re-pro Flutter pony wings? I’d really like to get some for my Flutter ponies that I do have but prefer to get something close to the original wings.

Casey beat me to the punch. :)

I'd also suggest CrowningGlory13 on the arena. She makes beautiful flutter wings.

There's a tutorial and printable wing patterns on Linniekins website too. They include the classic pattern as well as others. I've made wings for my girls that are simple and sturdy.

That does look easy and pretty!! I might try that sometime since I doubt I could afford wings for all my girls :p

It was very easy and I'm terrible at artsy craftsy stuff. This thread reminds me that I need more flutters.

Aww I am too but it gets easier the more you do it. (overheard advice but true!) I'm using buying more Flutters as an excuse to get better at artsie craft things. :p But honestly same I need more too :flutter2::flutter:

Starlight studio had beautiful wings last I ordered from them. They have a Etsy shop as well as an ebay account.

This sounds like a pretty darn good excuse to me. :winkpony:

Looks like I will be buying a couple pairs after the holidays. :) Thanks for the help everyone!!
In the mean time I might try the make it yourself way and see how they turn out.

Can't wait to see your girls new wings.

About 20 years ago, I was making those flutter wings from pop bottles. They are a cheap and fun alternative to real wings or paying for repros. At least half of my flutter have original wings now, but I will likely buy the good quality repro ones or pick up broken originals to repair. As it is, I have quite of few original wings that need repair.

I got some of shadowofthemoon custom wings on etsy. I love having the different colors and designs. The originals are still my favorite, but it's fun to have dragonfly and butterfly wings, too.

I'm not very good with photos, but here they are.

I kept my extras when I sold my other flutters. E wants to make a custom to go with the red ones. It's hard to see in the picture, but rosedust's have a small spot of the red at the bottoms of the wings. I also really like the longtail blue ones on cloud puff.
