Removing glitter WITHOUT damaging symbols?

So, I have this Savannah Sage here, and she's gorgeous--one of my faves! Except for one small issue...

Usually, I LOVE glitter on ponies. But she doesn't have the usual pretty sparkly glitter most ponies have, but instead these big, gaudy, dull circles. It's ugly, and I want it off.

How can I go about this WITHOUT damaging her cutie mark?

OxiClean soaks will remove the glitter from G1's but don't damage regular painted symbols. I've also had luck taking marks off of symbols by very carefully using a q-tip and non-acetone nail polish remover. I had to be very careful though and again that was a G1.

Hope that helps!

So do you think the OxiClean will work on a G3? o: Savannah Sage...I dunno, her glitter is WEIRD. She's the only pony I have who has such large glitter.

And wow, that's a great site! <3

Thanks! :) I finally learned enough about html that I'm re-vamping the whole thing and it'll look nicer soon!

I don't know if it would hurt a G3 or not. I doubt it would. I suspect at worse you would come out with a very clean pony and the ucky glitter still there. I think it might hurt hair tinsel, if she has any.

I don't put my ponies in boiling water, just Oxiclean and hot water. Boiling water really scares me!!!

Let me know how it turns out. Take pictures and if you like the results I might include them on the site.
