REstoredoll hair: where's the end??

I got my Hi Ho silver doll hair from restoredoll today. OMG so fine! I am almost tempted to re-hair the other ponies with stuff from Restoredoll. (But since I already glued the heads on, no way to sadly.

My question is WHERE is the end on the loop? Or do you cut it to make your own end?
 
I cut mine in half, It the perfect length for a rerooting a pony.
Isnt their hair the best? :)
 
So far I like it. I'm a bit worried about getting tangled nad stuff. I can just see my bird taking it. :)

I usually tighten up one of the two twisty ties on the loop (and remove the second tie) and then cut the loop near that tie. That way the twisty tie is holding the hair all together at the top. Then when I want to use some hair I untwist the tie, take what I want, then retwist the tie to hold on to the leftover hair and keep it tidy until I need it. I usually store my leftover hair in a little ziploc baggie so that it doesn't get mixed up with my other hair skeins and supplies.
 
Cool. Does restoredoll usually send two loops of hair? I ordered one but there's two packages total and I was wondering if this is normal or if I got a freebie.
 
That's normal. One order of hair is two skeins of it. :)

Good thing I only needed it for a tail. but I'm sure I can find another use for the rest.


now do I want ot keep these skeins of stiff, brittle hair I got from custompony and use them anyways, or just toss them and order new stuff from restore...
