Hello Friends! I purchased Baby Bonnet Dance Studio off eBay, unfortunately the studio is in very bad shape ( the bow handle is broken and the door does not close because the plastic prongs are broken off ( worse Ebay experience I have ever ) does anyone have a tutorial on how to remove the plastic pieces from the bow or open it? TIA.

I am sorry that you had a bad experience...that stinks. You could probably check mlp preservation project for different methods. I know that there was a section specifically for playsets. Good luck!

The preservation project has some information on replacement stickers and peroxide Whitening, but nothing specific to the Baby Bonnet. The handle you may be able to heat up with a blow dryer or heat gun and gently pry apart with a knife. You may be able to sculpt the plastic prong with milliput or sculpy.
Did it break in shipping? I’m so sorry you had a bad experience!
If all else fails, I have three bonnets right now I’d be happy to part with one at least!

Thank you so much! I will try sculpy prong and try opening the bow to remove the broken plastic pieces and maybe try re-creating the little attachments. ( if this fails, I would definitely like to purchase one from you) *hugs*

Possibly-controversial idea:
With regard to the tabs the bow attaches to, instead of gluing them back on, I would advise instead drilling some holes (or inserting small screw eyes maybe?), running a piece of twine or fabric ribbon through the holes in the bow itself, and tying the bow to the bonnet with that (by way of the newly-made holes)
I think a big reason the bow is so often broken off is because Hasbro designated it as a carry handle... meaning all the weight of the playset gets placed on those tabs. The same thing can happen with the Satin Slipper Sweet Shoppe's bow.
