Found a lump of clay last night and decided to make a 7-8" sculpture of Rudolf from the 1964 classic claymation film. Yay for whims. :D

Happy Holidays! :)

Very realistic lump of clay I might say. :) Outstanding!!!!

Will that stay as it is for a long while? I haven't worked with clay in many many years so have no idea!!

Oh he'll last a good long time.. he's been baked and painted. Once I get some sealant on him, he'll be preserved for quite a while ;)

You are such the artist and have all the tools to boot! :) I never thought of a kiln. Dahhh!! ;)

I just love this little guy, he is so gorgeous!

That looks so perfect! I am so jealous of you artistic people! *laugh*

lol no no no... it's Sculpey clay--you mold it and put it in your kitchen oven to bake it. Hehe nothing fancy here ^^;

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I hadn't even heard of that! Sounds really cool, maybe a silly like myself could even play with it. Believe me it won't be anything like yours. ;)

he is so cute. i love rudolf the red nosed reindeer, especially that one. you did a fantastic job on him. you are truly talented. bravo.

That is so awesome!

That's amazing, he looks like he stepped right out of the show! :036: Great job!

That is amazing!!! *swipes*

I got a D in a pottery class in high school...never took another art class again. I have NO idea how you guys can make such amazing things out of mushy clay...It's just beyond me!!

Ooh an exact replica!! How cute! You did a really amazing job.. you're so talented!! :D

I just saw this. I hardly ever come into this section for some reason. I just wanted to say that it looks just like him. So awesome!
