I have a bunch of G3 ponies that I am learning to restore. I've been doing some reading on cleaning (on many different websites); I'm seeing a lot of info about taking G1 heads off to clean rust from washers. Is this usually necessary in G3s as well? I heard the G3 heads are very difficult to get off.
For one of the G3 ponies, I'm thinking about doing a peroxide bath. In this situation, could I leave the head on, or should I try to take it off?
