Sorely Disappointed with new Coloring Book

I won a coloring book recently, and got it in today - http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5983585280&rd=1&sspagename=STRK:MEWN:IT&rd=1. I got it for the sole reason of Triple Treat being on the front (my fav. G3), and thought it'd have new Ponies in it (i.e. not the original 8). The back had pics of other coloring books w/ other Ponies on them (Star Catcher, Cherry Blossom, etc.), and said 'Meet the Ponies', so I was getting excited! First page had Triple Treat - doing great!

Turned the page, and there was a big fat picture of Rainbow Dash staring at me. The entire 'Jumbo' coloring book was made up of old pics (the same stinking ones in the Dollar Store activity books!), mazes, word finds, etc. Needless to say, I was sorely disappointed. :|

I haven't been buying any of the coloring books because of that, or any for that matter. I wish Hasbro wouldn't keep on using the exact same images for everything. Can't the artists draw some new poses once in a while? I've seen some collectors do a better job then them. :lol:

Not like your out much. I paid 7 bucks for it at TRU.

Yup...I paid $6 for mine at Super K.

I know what you mean. I would love to see newer ponies featured, but they like to reuse the same pictures over and over. I bought the two coloring books that had Sweet Summertime in it just for her picture, but I'm skipping all of the other coloring books. I am tempted to get that Triple Treat one though because Triple Treat is one of my favorites. That's too bad she's not in the coloring book more.
