We are all scared or creeped out by something. But is there something that say is out of the normal rang of phobia that bothers you?

I have tryophbia (do not look this up) it's a fear or a feeling of being bother by groups of circle in nature or man made sometimes with items in them.

Let's just say I don't like honey combs and the back of hair dryers freak me out.

I also am scared of people dress in costumes like the chick fil cow, Disney, six flags or anywhere.
This is kinda hard as I had a good friend who is a furry. I have nothing against furry. Pictures of his outfit did not bother me. I was more Omg the detail but when he put it on in real life I just could not come too close. Even though I knew it was my friend my fear just would not let go.
I have the same prob at cons you see these amazing costumes and from a distance I love to look at them. I just don't really want to get to close.

With my Asbergers I have a touch issue anyway so this does not help.

I have a fear of open spaces as well. Funny flips side my younger sister hates small spaces.

When I was a kid I used to be afraid that there was a shark in the deep end of the pool.

I used to think the drain of the pool and the fly filter would eat me

I am scared of dead animal meat like hamburger chicken. I can eat it cooked but I can't touch it raw.

I like to watch live fish in bowls, aquarium, on tv and in nature. I scare of fish if they swim next to me. Are dead in front of me like at the store, restaurant etc. I hate fishing I cry I am also scared of boats.

I passed out at Walmart cause my mom wanted me to get some raw fish at the counter they had. I woke up to her and to employs asking if I as ok.

I had the standard normal fears like the dark, or the closet being open, something under the bed ect. That type of stuff. I just try not to let it get to me.

Um.... Fires, war, gore

I've been rolling around screaming pretty much for days after reading about Aleppo Syria war .____.

I think due to my past I am very concerned about being harmed by a weapon carrying freak.

I hate sharks.

I have a very odd concern about putting Christmas gifts under a tree. I won't do it until Christmas Eve. I am scared a thief will see them through the window and cart them off.

Also due to my past history as a child I have no tolerance for being inside haunted houses, on haunted property or owning haunted items. One doesn't even have to tell me, I just know sometimes passing by something on the street. No thank you. Demons beware! God's angels from Heaven, perfectly fine the more the merrier.

I do not like people in costumes either. If they come near me I will run away from them.

Roaches no no no

I also have a problem with doctors, nurses, hospitals and medical treatments as I consider most of it a form of medieval torture.

I have a fear of ice skating blades. Not only am I uncoordinated enough to be unable to ice/roller skate, but I believe that if I fall someone won't be able to stop and will run over my fingers, severing them.

I also have a fear of open doors at night, even my closet door. Like, someone could hide in there or out there. I hafta have my door locked.

Hey, it has happened in real life. Someone found a guy living in their attic that connected to his daughter's closet. Her dog would growl at the closet. What a nightmare!

I don't know if it's a phobia or a form of OCD kinda. But before bed I have to check that all my toys, dolls, stuffed animals, and other thing are where they should be and safe. Also my bed must have a certain number of blankets these blankets do not change unless they are dirty. I have to have my pillow a certain way and my worry dolls must be in there. I also must have my 9 to 10 stuff animals and my baby blanket or I feel very un safe.

I tend to freak out and have panic attackes if I can't find my blanket( my uncle and aunt gave him to me when I was 4 and I do not sleep without it).same goes with my stuff animals.
I think it's my fear of openness I like to be in as small a space with heavy weighted blankets on my with my blanket and stuffies. I safer for me.

Also that all toys that can sing, make noise, or move/ light up are off.

The is prob why it takes me 30mins just to get to bed. Then with my insomnia who know how long to fall asleep.

Caterpillars really freak me out. I think it's more a fear of them getting accidentally squished and getting their guts on me. Earthworms are cool, but anything caterpillarish makes me cringe. It's really silly, but I can't even stand stuffed toy or cartoon caterpillars. Even typing about them give me the heebie jeebies. And it's sad, because they turn into such pretty butterflies!

I'm agoraphobic plus many others. My oddest one is dirty feet.

Nice to meet someone else who has agoraphoic

I'm afraid of raw meat. Also I used to know a weird guy that took advantage of me...now whenever I see someone who resembles him, it creeps me out. Also cockroaches. Poor cockroaches. Nobody loves them.

My older sister is so scared of insects and spiders that she would jump onto higher ground whenever one came in sight. By age three I was the only one in the house who could handle getting them outside or squishing them. (Yes, sadly, I've squished many. Not anymore though.)

I'm scared of mold spores and dolls. The creepy doll thread and ology's picture have made for sleepless nights. :p

Hey my doll are the nices creepiest dolls around. Now one or two ghost in my house well that's another story.

:devil:My dolls just want you to come play with them forever and ever!

I'm afraid of going down escalators. It just came out of nowhere one day. I used to work at the mall and had no problem, then one time I was at an airport with a very fast moving escalator and I was afraid to get on. It was super busy and everyone was going down with their luggage in tow and I couldn't do it. I've been afraid ever since. I take my time getting on them and can't be holding anything like shopping bags, my kiddos, etc. I hand all my items to my husband to hold until I get off. I have to use both hands to hold on. And if he's not with me, we take the elevator down. I can go up one with no problem.

My 4 year old son has mild Autism and has a thing with food. For example if jelly gets on his fingers from his sandwich or if a food is gooey he will get very upset until I hand him a wipe to remove it. He also won't eat some finger foods, like chicken nuggets, with his fingers for fear of the dipping sauce getting on his fingers and he doesn't like the texture of the nuggets on his fingers. He insists on using forks for his nuggets, toast, etc. It stops at food, as he does fine with Playdoh and other things.

I had a co-worker who had a phobia of loose buttons. Whenever she bought an outfit with buttons she would extra secure them on with more sewing. Loose buttons made her want to vomit and she would have a hard time breathing. It all came to light one day when our boss's button popped off of his shirt. She about lost it. She told us whenever she bought a blouse that came with extra buttons her husband would have to cut them off for her and stow them in a secret place so she didn't have to get in contact with them.

I am scared of birds. As long as they are in the distance I am fine. If they are too close I feel uneasy or freak out.. they just look freaky with their legs..

I used to own birds and had two friends with the same fear. I was surprised at first, but then very respectful when they came over, making sure the birds were caged. One of my friends would randomly get wild birds flying at her. Like they knew she was afraid! She told me and I didn't believe her until I saw it happen! Crazy.

Omg that would be totally awful. Luckily birds usually avoid me :p
