Has anyone else become victim to these oh so wonderful little monthly delights?

I personally am subscribed to two, BarkBox (for Clover of course) and Bibidibobity Boxes for me.

I find myself waiting anxiously for both boxes to arrive. As does Clover, she feels that every box delivered to our home is her BarkBox. <3

Does anyone else here subscribe to any monthly surprise box or subscription? Or am I the only sucker who falls for these things?

I’ve never done so, but I remember one of my friends had a sub to one for anime stuff. It was pretty neat.

I think they're a fun idea but I can't bring myself to spend the monies.
I got into innocently at first. Ordered the one for Clover because she is obsessed with toys and we were training at the time. So a box with 3 toys, 3 bags of treats and a chew does more than pay for its self in the long run.

Then I heard about the dang Disney sub box. That one got me hooked. I get a bunch of premium parks things (themed to my preferences each month). Being a HUGE fan of Disney and living so far from the parks, this was my gateway into trouble. My bf ordered three months for my birthday and now I just signed myself up for the next 12 months because I don’t want the awesome fun to stop.

Plus surprises are fun!! Hence why I love doing holiday swaps here.

I did the Pusheen one for the past two seasons. I unsubscribed for now and I'm going to wait until spoilers are revealed to decide if I want the boxes in the future. The Winter one was cute but the Fall one wasn't up my alley!
I'm trying to actively avoid bringing stuff in that will be difficult to get rid of (when I move out, I'm sure I'll have much less space than I do currently, and I don't want to end up leaving some things at home) so I'd prefer to pick stuff up after it's been "revealed".
I did do that MLP Express box for a month, but the latest shipment had such a problem getting out that I'm a bit apprehensive about going for the next cycle.

I read a lot of not so pleasing reviews on the MLP Express box so I passed on that.

The Pusheen box is another one if love but the past couple was we’re kinda “meh” for me. I’ve seen in the past year even that their boxes just don’t seem as “wow” as they used to be.

I have been subscribed to ipsy since 2015 or 16. (If you don't know, that's a make up product subscription.) I actually just let it lapse. It was fabulous for most of the months I received it, and did what I needed. Introduced me to new products and brands. But after so many years, it has started to get old.

I don't like receiving things I've expressly stated I don't want in their little preference surveys. And at this point, I'm out of room for more makeup! Lol.

I'm itching to jump into a sewing box, like Quilty Box or something similar. But that's a large jump from the $10/month I've been paying to more around $50....

Maybe when hubby is out of law school.

I'd love to get back on the subscription box train but I'm fairly niche. I don't use makeup at all and I'm particularly picky on fashion, so there goes 70% of all the boxes. I really only collect MLP and a few small toylines...
Sewing boxes do seem neat but I've passed my sewing machine on to my siblings as I never used it much, and I never got into quilting much.
I found the "Quirky Crate" which seems kinda cute. I love novelty bags and patches!

Ok, I am intrigued by the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boxes now that I have looked it up. What kinds of things have you gotten? Do you have photos of things you've gotten? Which boxes have you gotten. I have always been leery of doing a sub box because I can be picky about things I receive if I do not like the characters or item, especially for the price but have always been interested.

I’ve gotten everything from clothing to food items (pop corn/fudge/chocolates) to little stationary items. Last box I got a plush Stitch and a luxury parks exclusive purse. I love it and from what I’ve seen online (mostly YouTube) others love the subscription as well. My bf always seems pretty impressed with the things I get, may even slightly jealous? Lol

I'm with @Gingerbread there are many, many options for boxes that I know we would love. I just can't reconcile the cost.

I have tried Tokyo Treat and Universal Yums boxes. Although I like the treats being from Japan every month, Universal Yums has a smaller (cheaper) option and each month the noms are from a different country. Most of them have been yummy, some not so much, Like when they did belgium - the box was all about belgian chocolate and I HATE their chocolate. My favorite was Pakistan - everything was so full of flavor.
Im in China right now and so my sister has been eating my nom noms every month -_-
