Tell about your pets!

@Larkspur - Both your cats are beautiful. I do love me a good old domestic longhair. <3

@JennKitty85 - I love your bun-buns!! Sunburst looks like the Rex version on my little Pippin. Rabbits are so much fun and wonderful pets. I hope they bond together and stay out of bunny trouble (they can be very naughty). Although I’m sure it’s taken care of but the vet tech in me needs to say it, are both rabbits already fixed?
Thank you so much, @Skybreeze!

@JennKitty85 Such sweet, beautiful bunnies! I love that you bring them indoors! I wanted a bunny so badly when I was a child, but the one I ended up choosing from the county fair was a nasty biter. I have envied other people over the years who have had bunnies they had house-trained like dogs and the bunnies plopped on laps and sofas and were so affectionate.

@IceCrystal you have beautiful cats! Your photos capture your description of their personalities so well.

Thank you Skybreeze and Larkspur! Yes, I think their personalities show quite well on the photos, although you would never guess boss puss' darker side when you see her. She has such a sleepy, innocent look and towards us she's always very charming.

My vet is finally rescheduling all their cancelled appointments. My boy really needs his teeth cleaned. I have to put him in the exam room, then leave him in there, while they pick him up from the other side. He's going to be so scared and mad at me. :(

He will be okay, he’s in good hands. Honestly, it’s usually the owners who are more upset about leave their animals at the clinic than the animal is. I hear this almost on a daily and by the time the family is back in the car the dog is in the back loving on me. Just know once he’s finished he will have a happy and healthy smile again. :) If you need anything I will be around so feel free to message me (messenger or text is probably best). <3

Thank you! I know I'm a worrier. He just has ptsd from his past vet visits. Two overnight surgeries when he was barely a year old for the second. He has a legitimate reason to fear. He's just recently started getting more comfortable with the vet. I just know he's worried he'll wake up with something else done to his poor leg.

While I agree that the cat is adorable I'm more interested in the giant bin of what I assume to be 12 jumbo sized rolls of supper savers yarn! and the two arcade machines!
The bin is mostly full of Red Heart yarn that I'm using to make my Christmas village in plastic canvas.

The arcade cabinets are Space Invaders on the far side, which we have had for about a decade now. And Sea Wolf is the nearer one, which we only recently added.

I love it! :ponylove:

So... does anyone else have a seasonal shedder? I brushed my boy. He only needs it every other month. However, twice a year, he sheds much more heavily. What to do with the fur? We put it out in the yard. (Left it in a dog shaped pile, lol) I'm hoping that birds can use it and it's biodegradable.

Any thoughts? Note: I wouldn't leave it out there without a sizable yard and solid fencing. It shouldn't overwhelm any neighboring yards.

Our short haired saint Bernard "Boogie" sheds soooo much that he can turn a freshly vacuumed Brown carpet completely white with in 24 hours. all year round!
It also takes three times emptying the vacuum cleaner to clean one small area of carpeting!
I also prop my bed up so he can't excessively shed and drool on it.
Despite the mess he is a good boy and a great dog
Also to answer the question we just throw the hair in the trash can.

There is household disagreement on what her name should be... so she still doesn't have one. :hmph:
Heh heh. That reminds me of the series "Lark Rise to Candleford". Thomas the postie and his wife couldn't agree on a name for their new dog, both wanted to name her after a relative, so she became "Amelia-Cordelia". :lolpony:

My mom has an 18 month old bernese mountain dog. Her fur has actually broken their vacuum! Giant dogs have so much love. They're worth the shedding.

She such a cutie! So soft! We had a mini dachshund that my sister was supposed to name, but she wouldn't pick one. After two weeks of me potty training him and saying "come on, little guy", that became his name. Little guy. My sister was livid... I guess she should have taken him out herself, lol.
