Thrift store find (sweet story, not that exciting!)

On a whim I went thrift store hunting today and I found a grubby looking baby Toppy with no tail in the basket, and a little carebear that I picked up (my neice has quite the collection of them, she calls them "bubby bears"). Pleased with myself (because I NEVER or RARELY have pony luck at all) I took them both to the counter and the lady told me I could have them.. :) I offered her a donation but she insisted. How sweet :) So baby Toppy will be getting a good clean and a new tail in the next couple of days
 
Wow, wish I could find a freebie. The last flea market find I had was a G1 tin lunchbox and they wouldnt go any lower than $23!
 
that happened to me once, I went to the flea market thats really far away and i got lost like I usually do lol and I asked this one guy who had TONS of 80s toys if he had any and he said maybe hell look for me... so I came back later on and he had a baby sniffles he gave me for free!! I was so greatful and I kept thanking him
 
Its nice when people go out of thier way to be kind.

Maybe it was Karma... it was a Salvation Army thrift store, and I donate $20 to them every month :D
 
That's so sweet! That happened to a friend of mine from the board.. opalfairie I think. We went to a thrift store together, she asked how much a Mc Ds pony was, (she didn't have that one) and they gave that and something to her ^^
 
Well, they are in the business of good will, right? :)

Congrats on the pony, and it's good to know that good people are everywhere.
