G3-Fs hu? :lol: i know i'm really the only one who calls the new style "G3-9s" or "3-9s" but the similarity to "3-Fs" is just funny in my mind :lol:;;;

or it'd be dubbed like Generation Anime, or the Anime Generation then since it looks very animaish. GAs anyone?

i know there'd be no cease in production, but it's a complete over haul with new characters and a new storyline then we really do need a new "generation title" even if it isn't G4. i mean at least the 3-9s are still the same storyline as the G3s, but this looks like it'll be completely different and unrealated. but we really won't know till it comes out, hu?

holy crap I need those anime ponies to live.

I stopped collecting G3 when they went to core seven, and the final nail in the coffin came for me with the creepy anthro ponyvilles and the g4s

But I would absolutely start collecting again if these little anime esque g1/g3 things came out. can you imagine a whole line of g1s like that? and the unipeg thing is adorable.

I think that they should be considered G4's. Yes, production hasn't stopped, but that happened with G2's and G3's. Production stopped on G2's in the US, but they continued in Europe until 2002-2003, and G3's came out in the US around that time. G3's and G3.5's both had the same core 7, so I can see why they are both considered G3's. However, these are different style and characters, so I think it would be ok to make the leap to G4 on these. That's just my 2 cents though. :)
 
Wow, I think those Anime style ponies look really neat and I will totally buy them when they come out. I really want Applejack and the dragon because they are just so cute!:eek:k:

I just don't get why so many of you are complaining about it. I mean you all say that you want something different, then they give you something differnt that is not core7 and most of you are all, "Really?! >_> *complaincomplain*" I mean at some point y'all have to understand that we collectors are not Hasbro's target group when they make ponies and they are not out to please us, but the little girls that they originally targeted for ponies.
 
Will they really release the anime style ones, or are they just models for the upcoming TV show? I just don't wanna get too exited over something that may or may not be released as a sales item. Unfortunately, they're the only thing I like in the whole release. :(
 
Has anyone else noticed that if you look really hard on the legs of Apple Jack and Pinkie Pie you can see what looks like Japanese writing?

It looks like a serial/ model # and date to me. It's written sideways :)
 
I know I said something before.. but, after a couple of days I've decided that I actually really like the new line. I'm kind of excited. Especially if they wind up having comb-able hair. I especially like the G1-ish ones. I'll have to have Applejack and the Glory/Sparkler one. I hope there are other familiar faces that show up!

Someone needs to usurp Pinkie-pie in her quest for ponyville domination! Probably won't happen though, because that's who the kids are used to.. but, one can dream!
 
:( What are they doing? My daughter is 5 and she only likes the look of the mum and baby sets.
 
Yeah those anime-like things are weird, but also kinda cute... but like most i also prefer comb-able hair.
 
Wow. I cannot wait for some of that stuff to be carried in the store.

I must say I really like those anime style ponies (i don't know much about anime and not sure if it's an insult to it or not) but i love them! I do hope they make these and then I can buy g3s again!
 
I like them! And that upsets me, lol!

Now I have to split my pony money between variants and new ones.

At least their heads are fairly proportionate.

Ok, AJ and Spike for the win! But, maybe I missed the explanation, but who is fyre flye and why exactly did she get to make up pony characters? Reading her DA, is it because of connections? Lucky, lucky girl.
