TOY FAIR 2010 Pictures

I like the anime ponies. Applejack is adorable. Spike is cute too, kind of reminds me of a Mudkip. :tongue: I am looking forward to seeing the brushable hair versions.
 
OMG! I love those lil Unico style ponies!!! Yes! I do hope they will be releasing them to the US? :scratch: They will be the only ones I buy - well.... I may get a mer or 2... o_O
 
I had heard that Hasbro is sticking to the idea of the adult collectors as a market. Maybe that's what the 'anime' ponies are for.

It could also be figures for the new MLP series to debut when the Discivery Kids network switches over to whatever the blasted name is their calling their 'Hasbro' collaboration.

Lots of possibilities here.

I must say, I am certainly intrigued. That pegasus must be mine. The anime others are a definate maybe. I have to look them over when I see them in person.
 
The new tv series design ponies are not anime the person who is in charge of them said herself they are not.
About the g3.5 that people call them, really don't make sense to be called that. They have been in production since 2003 for the g3 line. Like take the g1 line the regular ponies and the gem eyed ponies are all still g1's.
 
yeah, I wouldn't call them anime either.

OMG, that makes me so excited! I loved Powerpuff Girls and Fosters, so if the pony show is similar to those (I imagine she'd have a similar humor to her husband) I so need to get cable again!! And I much prefer the look of the prototypes for the show over the "new look" ponies.

As for the mermaid PV sets, they are cute, I might pick them up. I just wish they would have explored mermaids or sea ponies (however you like) in the regular line....
 
Are these definite, or just prototypes? I'm not liking the plastic hair. But, I kind of like the sea ponies. But again, plastic hair. That's one reason we don't do the little Ponyville stuff.

Wow, I love the Mermaid Ponyvilles. :3 And the accessories and buildings for them are adorable! ^^ They're kinda strange but I like em. :D

And what are those ponies in the end?? o_O;; They look freaky!! I like that big unipeg, though. =P I kind of want her......... xD
 
I'm not sure about the new 'anime' styled ones but they could grow on people. Not really liking the drawing style though. It actually makes me think more towards the PonyVille line but maybe a little bigger? Hmmm we'll have to see.

Also, in the tv tie-in set, the purple unicorn seems to be a new character for the series named "Twilight Sparkle". And the pink one she says is Pinkie Pie in the comments here. No idea who the big white unipeg is though.

She also says that there are gonna be some boys in the series, so here's hoping for new boy pony toys.

The New MLPS are Kinda Dumb Lookin.
Don't much care for the hair either. :naughty:

Bring Back the ones that have such wonderful
shiny Hair to brush!!

I Just miss the Ponies the way they were
before, But well "sigh" some of these have Potentail.

 
I was already out of the collecting game for a while, but this new line doesn't make me want to collect or even buy them for any of the little girls I know. Even my five year old God daughter thinks they are 'weird.' I wish they would stop redesigning them.

Ok so I now Have I believe the Mc Donalds Celestia Its smallish
and Get this one you can Brush her Tail. :eek:mg:

Ya Go Figure It was Dumb Luck I guess Finding her.

Its the new 2011 Unipegasus With a Pink Crown and
Anime Looking eyes.

Shes not half bad actually she has kinda a Duck shaped nose.
And Belive it or not, a really soft Tai thats Purple, Blue, and greenish.

I really want to Trade her or sell her for Applejack, I don't mind wich
size small or the Regular size one is Great to.

I also foud a Pink Pony Im guessing from 2010-2011?

I will get back with those Interested in her name.

Shes got a Big head and brushable Mane, and has party ballons
on her backside for a crest.

If anyone wants to trade up For her message me cause I don't
wanna keep her and would like to Find some older ponies to Trade for.

Hey cat22, this threads pretty old :) if you want to sell or trade your ponies have a look in the want to sell forum ( links on the left hand side of the page) however on the topic of this thread, I still can't believe how much negativity there was for the g4s before the show came out. I know I was guilty of it lol. Guess it shows you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover ^_~
