Vintage Halloween Custom Spooky Leigh

I made four Halloween customs, one is getting ready for my swap partner, this one is for sale. The others are waiting patiently for their moment in the sun.

Thanks so much for all of your nice comments! I really just enjoy her and have had fun taking her around my family.

I didn't really have a plan for her, I just sat down and said, "hey you would be great for a Halloween custom." She was a baity MM Windy and her hair was ragged. I don't like to cut the original hair if I can't help it. I went to make it a darker orange from the salmon color she had but it was still coarse and didn't look good so I thought that she was a witch and needed proper witchy hair. I dyed her hair a second time with RIT dye and darkened her body too a little to make her her purple instead of pink. I love the airbrush and knew that I wanted black for her legs. When I sat down to paint on her I just knew that she needed a familiar. The pictures do not show the detail well but she has a black cat on a picket fence. The cat's back is arched and its tail is erect. Moonlight shows on the tops of the fence pickets and the outlines some of the cat. I really like how it worked out. Sometimes you fail and sometimes it comes together, this one came together for me and I am happy. I think she is a young witch and I gave her some little accents on her neckline and freckles. I don't know how other customizers part with their work, I want to keep everything I make, lol.
