Weird ways of fixing ponies

Bumping this up because I decided to fix up my baity Medley. She appears to have been burned on her leg.
I didn’t have clay at the moment so I came up with the weirdest method; Mod Podge Outdoor. Thanks to its stiff consistency, I “patched” up her mark with a thick layer of it and matched up some paint. It’s not that bad, honestly. She’s still drying :p Poor Medley was abused!

EDIT: She looks waaay better than how she used to :D Her paint, although not an exact match, makes her look much better as well!

She might need some sanding to smooth it all out once its completely dry. Medley is also awaiting a full rehair, she got stuck in the 80s with her badly crimped uneven cut!
That's a good idea. I love how she turned out!

I actually cast a new ear for a chewed-up G3 baby pony out of hot glue, since I didn't have any air dry clay on hand! I made a mold out of unbaked Sculpey clay using a pressing of another G3 baby's ear, and filled it with hot glue. Then when it was dry, I popped it out and it was perfectly shaped! I glued it to her head using hot glue. It has worked pretty well as a temporary fix, but I plan to redo it properly with air-dry clay in the future.
I would never have thought if using glue! What kind of glue was it?

It's just hot glue! More specifically:

Surebonder Mini Glue Sticks, used in a Mini Glue Gun

I get them in packs of 50 for like $6 at Hobby Lobby, because I love working with hot glue and tend to use it for everything. Worked like a charm!

Hot glue is amazing. I had an art show last year and my art teacher broke one of the rock turtles she was selling, but we saved it because I carry a glue gun everywhere I go. My mom never believed I'd need it! I'll have to look those up!

That;s one heck of a story! :lolpony: If it were me I'd be gloating about that one for years!
