My friend Sal lives in a Metropolitan City and when Sal was with his friends relatives, Sal ate Turtles.

I'm not adventurous, even when I'm on vacation.

I want to try eating authentic food when I'm on vacation but I'm often nervous that the food won't agree with me so the few times I've been on vacation, on my last day of vacation, I've ate exotic food and was okay (traveling home)...

At a few ethnic restaurants, I had to spit the food back into a napkin. Though I don't remember what foods they were and it only happened twice or possibly 3 times...

Over all the weirdest things I finished eating were completely cold eggs and snails in pasta...

What about you?

Umm... let's see, my dad ate rattlesnake cooked over an open fire, my brother was tricked into eating a very old, dried out, tiny piece of dog poo, my sister got road apples in her mouth courtesy of the ship tzu who licked her face while they were matted in her chin hair... me, not so bad, my mother's bernese mountain dog licked my face from the chin up and her wet chin hair went in my mouth. (I have this enzyme that makes cilantro taste really nasty to me and that is still the worst flavor for me) My daughter once got my dog's foot in her mouth when she was lying down. He can't jump well and just landed wrong.

Well when I was 3 I ate a spider. I at alligator it so good. Elk and moose. My dad ate shark fin soup. I ate veal it’s good but after learning what it was I will not eat it again.

I've traveled a lot and lived in a few different countries, so I've eaten some interesting things for sure. Maybe a couple of the most unusual ones were donkey meat (actually delicious!) and raw horse meat (not my favorite thing ever, but surprisingly not bad). I will try almost anything at least once!

Uhh... how did that happen? Was your brother tricked or dared or extra hungry?

Walking around the house. I was little my parent pulled most of it out. I don’t remember it.

When Action Hank and I were in Austin, he dared me to lick the capitol building. And I did (so did he for that matter). I licked the wood framing around one of the doors. I didn't die so it must not have been too germy. :D

I told my little brother they tasted like Tootsie Rolls when we were kids. He ate one then said, "They don;t taste like Tootsie Rolls, but they taste good!"

He'd eat 'em by the handful. My mom tanned my hide. :D

Never underestimate the power of a manipulative older sister. My sister convinced him as something else. She was left to watch us and really took well to being in a place of power. She only made me eat oats out of the lamb's supply, chicken feed, chili powder, bisquik mix, and peanut butter mixed with Italian salad dressing on carrots.

EvilBunnyFooFoo mom has the right idea of tanning kids hides.

Did your parents ever find out and discipline your sister?

Just felt like it I guess? I have little to no impulse control so I don't even have a reason for it, just picked up the little guy and ate him.

I don't know if they ever found out. They always trusted her implicitly, and still do, so it wouldn't have mattered.

I had the donkey meat in China, and the horse meat in Japan. I lived in Asia for several years so I've seen all kinds of things, lol.
What are the most interesting dishes in Asia?

Well, people in China will eat just about any part of an animal, including all kinds of organ meats, brains, etc. And chicken feet are considered a delicacy for some reason. I've tried those, but they are mostly just really difficult to eat and have hardly any meat on them, so I don't get why they're so popular lol.

I have lived in China for almost 3 years now....so:
Pig ears
Pig blood
Ox tail
1000 year egg
various organs I don't even want to think about
but the weirdest was cicadas, before they get wings. That was a one time deal. The taste is fine as long as u dont think about it and i was drunk at the time..
Chicken feet are gross, as is cartlidge which is also consumed here (not for me)
There are quite a few donkey meat places in my neighborhood
Me: What is it?
Them: It's a type of meat
Me: meat of what
them: I dont know how to say in English
me: ......

Cicadis is a bug like a grasshopper, right?
I understand that you tried it just once when you were drunk (which basically any meal tastes great), but aside from that (in the light of day) I wonder what the bugs would taste like...
Were the Cicadis covered in sauce or dipped in anything?
