what are you going to be for Halloween and what was your favorite costume as a kid??

So what is everyone going to be for Halloween? Or what are you going to do?

Or what was your favorite costume as a kid?


I am going as a Zombie Nun ( I love love love Nuns). My town has a zombie parade every year in the middle of October I plan to walk in it this year provided I don't get sick again.


Growing up my favorite costume was my Cleopatra costume and my 80's rocker costume ( XD I dress up like a female David Bowie with Jarath hair from labyrinth.
 
dunno what I'm gonna be this year. my favorite kid costume was a pirate, my favorite adult costume was when I went as Pit from Kid Icarus a couple years ago
 
Ugh, I don't even want to think about costumes...but I do want to think about it....does that make sense?

I don't fit into any of my old costumes because I've gained so much weight (sad face:( ) so I need to come up with something new. Something scary....no idea yet.

My favorite costume as a teenager was a star trek costume which I modified into an X-men costume later on. As a kid...I can't even remember.
 
I've never done a costume because we don't celebrate Halloween here. Though cosplay is taking off quite drastically as of late. I did a very poor L from Death Note back in 2007 (thrown together on the morning of the convention), and I've been wanting to do a proper cosplay for years. I was going to do it this year, but then pony collecting drained my bank account and I couldn't participate again. Now I look at the other local cosplayers and how they're doing a different costume every day at this year's con, and I get depressed.
 
I don't know if I have an absolute favorite my childhood costumes mostly represented different interests/fandoms in my life at the time.

I don't know if I'm gonna dress up this year. I don't really have anywhere to go.
 
I have always loved halloween and as a kid I so wished the people here would catch on to how much fun it is to just dress up and have fun. A couple of friends and I did dress up one year and go trick or treating, but the people thought we were satanists and we ended up being chased off by a priest Lol!
The opinions of people did start to change as I grew up though and halloween dress up parties became more usual. So my best custume was when I was about 19 years old, I went to a club dressed as the Grimm Reaper and I won best dressed! :D no one even knew I was female untill I spoke to them, was awesome! Lol! I will try post a pic later if you want to see?
 
This year my family is going as the Nightmare Before Christmas gang. I'm going to be Sally, my husband Obi is Jack, and our little man is going as Zero. Or, if I can't pull off making a Zero costume...we're going as parental Ghostbusters and toddler Slimer. xD

My favorite costume growing up was, ironic since I'm afraid of them, a Spider Enchantress outfit. It was just one of those large, gothic bag dresses in mainly black with some red hourglass shaped inlays. The red had black spiderweb patterned lace over it and the whole thing had this absurd spiked collar along the back of the neck that stuck up well above my head. I have no idea why...but it has always been my favorite.
 
I have always wanted to celebrate the Halloween! Sadly it is not a big thing in Finland :( . But some people organize a party as Halloween theme party. I have been zombie most of the time. It's easiest to dress up and don't require too much stuff :p How lazy of me..
 
I doubt I'm going to dress up this year, haven't done anything for Halloween for about four years.

My favorite childhood costume was a white winged unicorn suit, complete with a stuffed head, wings and rainbow hair.

@Kallile Zero is effectively just a sheet with a head, so try to improvise a hat out of the head part of this tutorial and then stick a white sheet on him. I don't think it should be too hard! :p Also here's great Sally makeup and this one's an awesome Jack facepaint. P.S. I demand photos after. ;)
 
I'm going to be Anna from Frozen this year, and one of my friends will be Elsa. Never too old to be Disney princesses :p

My favorite costume from when I was little was probably the monarch butterfly wings my mom made for me when I was four. She cut and painted them herself, and I still have them in my closet. I actually wore them a second time when I was eleven or twelve.
 
This year, I'm going to be a sexy starting line girl at my fiance's racetrack event. I wanted to be Carmen Sandiego, but I've got way too much going on with the wedding to put together a new costume. I really liked all my halloween costumes growing up since my mom made them all. I think the funniest was my first one, which I asked my mom to make me an umbrella costume at 2 or 3 years old.
 
I did got as a cat witch one year to my college's Halloween party I won 2nd place. I also dress up as Trinity from the Matrix one year so I guess I like those as well.

This year I am dressing not only for the parade but to give out candy at my aunts house. How many kids will take candy from a Zombie nun wielding a ruler lol.

I will I also went as a Undead catholic school girl a few years ago. The kids did not seem to like that one.
 
I'm going as (of course) Grim Rapper. I like to yell in big crowds " HEY YO, GRIMMY IS ON DA HOUSE!!!"
I loved loved loved my little dead bee costume as a kid for 3 reasons. 1 I hate bees and haven't gotten a sting XD. 2 I liked wearing the cast and those crippled wings. 3 All the teachers at school called me a Cutie and a little Honeyzombie XD Blame that little striped dress and antenna
 
I'm going to be Red from "Orange is the New Black." When I was a kid I was a princess a lot, but I think my current favorite is Star Trek.

In college I dressed as a, um, "lady" from the red-light district a lot for Halloween.

To be honest with you, my screen name was unintentional. But now that I know the "true" usage of it, my boyfriend won't leave it alone.
 
My favourite childhood Halloween costume was a MLP G1 Magic Star plastic costume with a plastic pony face mask to cover my face. I still remember how happy I was. Another costume I liked was a sexy black witch dress with a slit and a nice red belt. I always liked that one.
