What can be used to mask areas while dying?

I've heard people mention Frisket and Rubber Cement; does anyone have any other suggestions as to what can be used to mask certain areas of the pony while dying, or give me their opinions on how masking has worked for them?


I can always paint the pony, but I want to do a custom that I can dye in a light color, then mask certain areas of that color so I can dye the rest of the pony darker.

Any advice is appreciated!

Check this link. It's a paint on latex masking that peels off. I haven't used it yet, but I've heard good things about it.
