Well that's no good. Try frankincense and dragon's blood. One drives out unwanted spirits, one protects the house. Sage is also good.

We’ve done that. A friend of mine ghost hunts as a hobby but brought a medium over who refused to come in. But told us what she felt was here and how to “calm” the spirit. Basically I can’t rid it - so I just live with it now. It’s not at all nearly as bad as it was when we first came home... but on occasion stuff still happens.

Pfft. Some medium she is. Sounds more like someone who is just trying to show off for attention to me. You don't need to be a medium to kick them out of your home, or make them stay out.

That's like having a cop tell you to just calm down the intruder in your house while they stay safely outside. Or a bug exterminator just telling you to calm down ants or something.

Any spirit or ghost can be gotten rid of. Anyone who says otherwise while pretending to be a medium doesn't know their rear end from a hole in the ground. :blink:

There's lots of simple little things you can do.

Drive it out with good strong incense or oils. Keep it out with empowered little charms. Crosses, runes, stones, holy water, juju bags, oils, herbs, even paper with symbols.

You can learn to do a house shielding and personal shielding.

I'm no expert and I'm a lazy bones. I can only sense most of the time, but even I know some of those basics.

Sorry, my anger isn't directed at you. Its more like I'm angry on your behalf because of what that phoney baloney said.

@Leave a Whisper - I felt the same, but I’ve burned a lot of stuff and smudged the heck out of everything. It seems to have settled a lot. I only get night terrors occasionally, I believe I know what followed me and I may have to go back to the museum to completely exterminate it.

@Ology - if it gets bad again I will certainly take you up on that. Thank you. :)

OK just let me know I live with 9 haunted dolls and thing of my own but they are harmless I sage and salt a lot too

Do you have any Animal Spirits? If you do, ask them to get rid of the unwanted spirit for you. Animal Spirits are often very protective. One of mine kicked out a bad spirit from a monkey sculpture one of my friends had. I didn't even ask him to, but he didn't want it anywhere near me so he got rid of it. My friend said it never came back.

I had my Fox do similar. Wesley is very perceptive, too, so I've come to trust his judgment on what needs to stay outside.

Different. Similar. Your spirit animal can help you with spirits, including animal spirits.

I all honesty I don’t know. I know my dogs who have passed visit me (no Zephyr yet) but I’m not sure if I have a spirit animal per say.
 
I have an arctic fox as my spirit animal. My past beloved animals visit me, too. I'm certified crazy, though, so, I believe quite a bit that others don't.
