what do you think about this?

:unsure:I feel strange now as I am called a brony not the bad kind and now I don't know if I should uses the term but I like being a brony in the fim community on the good side.:sadpony:

We know you're not onea those weirdo with a beardo living in da basement! You can be a proud Brony and we won't tease ya!

No I am not thank you for the good comment. I am a proud charity active member and supporter of the good side of the brony community.
I cried when a little girl we helped died and a boy who tried to kill himself and thank the gods failed. The charity work done by good bronies are over look by the creepy ones.
Remember not to judge a book by its cover.

Lord the las Pegasus charity was a night mare.
I think the term is slowly fading out the fan base has changed in the last what 8 years

A local letgo listing has G1s and a G2 and says "hey any bronies out there?". While pony collectors and bronies do overlap, brony is not the target audience for your overpriced dirty old horse toys.

Lemme guess, a bunch of overpriced commons in terrible shape that were, according to the seller, "Super Rare" and "worth every penny?"

I had a interview with local news reporter for a news paper article over my customs and they put "rp's on Facebook" in my article.... I automatically felt ashamed cause I DON'T ROLE PLAY ON FACEBOOK AND I MENTIONED NOTHING OF THAT DURING THE INTERVIEW.

So I think they lumped me in with the brony crowd

Only thing both collectors and bronies have in common, is the nasty drama-mongering and witch hunts to make others look bad

And everything about both fandoms have to "fit exactly with hasbro" or they reject or think it's weird

So in other words, I'm a lone wolf in both fandoms lol

Poor Lightning. Why would they do that?

No but there's a g1 Applejack who's $28, previously $30-35. I asked why it was so expensive and they just asked what my offer was.

Ahhh!! I hate when people try to take advantage of others like that. It is SO frustrating. I often see people trying to sell fakies as G1’s, so sometimes (if I’m bored) I will contact and tell them it’s not a G1 or an MLP. I have yet to contact someone who was greatful for my attempt to help and offer advice on how to identify a true MLP. ._.

Course not. Your ruining their Get Rich Quick scheme with facts and knowledge. Those fakies are just limited edition mlps you aint seen before.:winkpony:

Clearly they’re much too precious and too rare for Hasbro to put any marking on them. Wouldn’t want to damage the plastic at all by adding a logo or anything.

I'm bugged by it. I was alright with the term when I was more heavily into EqD and such, but now my only involvement with strictly G4 fans is on tumblr, and it's limited to other people who don't call themselves Bronies. It does tend to have negative connotations nowadays, moreso than a few years ago, I'd wager.
I'm not going to start fights with people who still refer to themselves as such, but I will raise my eyebrow for a moment if they have suspicious behavior.

Reminds me of a seller I saw at both Bronycon and the Fair. Applejack for $30. Alright, sure. I bought her for about $10 at another booth for the same condition...

It annoys me, but I *DO* own the infamous queen of all Brony shirts that irritates everyone across the spectrum that I'm sure you've all seen.... It says "I <3 Bronies" on it and has a group of G1's on it.... but it doesn't annoy me...what annoys me on it is that Glory is flying on it without wings and a rainbow is trailing behind her like it's coming out of her butt... bad designing. But I still own it because it's partly G1 and it makes for a good laugh because if I run into fellow pony people while wearing it, it causes them to do a double take.

Now, if someone *calls* me a Brony, I'm fast to correct them. That's a no-no. My name on here is my name for a reason... that is the collector term I grew up with. You can call me a My Little Pony Mommy. That was our marketing term in the G1 days.
