What is this? Mystery So Soft Spike?!

So I was searching for So Soft ponies on eBay the other day and I came across a listing with So Soft North Star, So Soft Lofty, and... Spike?!

And THEN, I found ANOTHER listing with JUST the Dragon. Both of these listings claim to have So Soft Spike! I really want to know what this REALLY is.

I am not positive but honestly, that does not look like a authentic MLP product at all. He is cute but has to be from some other toy line.
 
I found another image of the toy, did a reverse image search to find it in other places and it seems nobody knows what toy line it is from, it might be one of those things the internet forgot.
 
Makes me think of Twinkle Eye Customs I've been seeing on facebook. Adorable pieces, I think they flock a lot of tiny things. ♡

I wonder if maybe they made it?
 
The toy base for me is such a mystery. I have never seen it before with or without flocking. I spent some time looking for it with various searches. I could find nothing.

I couldn't find anything either. I wonder what it is?

You know, it actually looks a lot like Glo Worms, but I couldn't find anything on that either...

My guess is its from China. They produce so many toys that it can be really difficult sometimes to know exactly. Its such a cute little guy though so, we must figure it out.

Whatever they may be, they are definitely not MLP.

Here's the other image I found of the little guy. Of course it had no info with it and a reverse image search also brought up no more information

It sort of reminds me of the Meritus Darlin' Dinos. Sorta.
 
That artist is extremely talented and her work is gorgeous. :rolleyes: This dragon doesn't really measure up in my opinion as far as eye work, color and a clean look about the sculpt. He is cute but doesn't completely represent her art style. I have admired that artist for a while now. I want one of her sea ponies badly, they are just too expensive for me lol. I really think this is a manufactured toy.
 
Such a cutie <3 It doesn't look MLP or dragon to me... More like salamander etc. Now I'm interested to know which toy line it is!
