Sky is not impressed we have only just now heard of a litter of puppies being birthed with ZERO photographic proof. O____O

And no pics of them as little bits. They were down at the other house which is too far for me to walk with my leg messed up. :(

I'll have to get good pics now that they're bigger, if my son will take them. I hate not being able to walk.

Yes! Please! Puppy pictures!!!!

Speaking of puppies. My mother's bernese mountain dog pup is now about 4 months old and over 35lbs! She's such a love. It's so comical watching her and Wesley play. He's definitely the dominant one. This last weekend, she wore him out. He's little. 14 lbs. She's a baby and so excited to play! When she gets too rough on him through sheer size, he sounds like a Tasmanian devil. He's so careful to not hurt her, but he doesn't want to get hurt. I never knew he could make such a sound!

Looking for an optometrist for Obsidi and me. Mostly Obsidi.

Mine is too far too, but I have to drop her name. My optometrist is named Dr Lenz, I kid you not. :D

EDIT: What a great pony name! An optometrist pony named Lenz! Squeee!

Mine is Dr. Bookman and my dentist is Dr. Pearl. Always joke with them both that they were born into their professions. Both fantastic doctors in their own respect.

Mine has a plain name, but he's great. Pretty much saved my sight.

Lol, now we need someone to do a Lenz custom :p

Will Lenz have some big Harry potter style glasses? Maybe one of those eye machines as a symbol, or and eye and spectacles?

My optometrist is actually a husband and wife that are both optometrists and they run their own business... they have a third optometrist that I've never seen since she's scared of dogs... I always see the husband since he specializes in odd eye disorders (and I've got some interesting/disgusting eye issues) and my daughter sees his wife who is absolutely wonderful.

Decorated my walls a bit so they don't look so barren. Maybe I should buy a cork board and some red yarn too.

Should I stay in China where I am paid triple the local population or return to NY and be poor again? There are some great things about being here - like everything is super cheap, and its safe to walk around at 3 AM but there are some things that are terrible like the pollution. Internet censorship is annoying but I can get around it.

Had a near fainting spell Sunday morning at 4 a.m.
Felt I had to vomit but I never did, and then my heart kept beating too fast and I got dizzy and couldn't talk

Took my blood pressure later that day and it was 149/96
It has gone down a little since but a few hours ago it was 135

Might end up going to the doctor

And my car is still trying to die while we job hunt

Whenever my husband drops a resume off to a employer in person, the car won't start

Fun times

@Tikibirds I admit, if I had no obligations in the States, I think an adventure in China would be amazing. You must have seen so many interesting things there, really getting immersed in the culture. I would think the censorship would be problematic, but what an amazing life experience!

You should start a thread here, telling us all the neat things you see!

I’m really sad I’m spending more money on my car today. I have to get winter tires on my car and I hate so much it’s going to cost me so much. :( Yet another reason to dislike winter in Canada and snow....

Tires are so dang expensive, I almost died having top replace two the other day. Then I needed a new alternator as well. Goodbye money!

I'd think you HAVE to have the winter tires though, what with the weather there.

Well, usually, my brand new (and unplanned) all season tires I had to purchase three months ago would be fine for winter driving for 1 season.
But because Mother Nature hates us all this year we’ve gotten a lot more snow than normal, so yes. I finally caved and bout new tires. Ended up being a little over $1200 and I got a discount and didn’t pay labour because a friend installed at his work... being a physical adult sucks hard sometimes.
