I'm an Aquarius and I was born in the Year of the Water Pig. I'd say I fit a lot of those characteristics very well, being compassionate, open minded, extremely stubborn and emotional, proud to be weird, sensitive, self-indulgent and see-sawing between independence and dependence.

Scorpio; Year of the Ox. I don't follow the zodiac, but the symbols are pretty cool. c:

I am a Pisces and I am year of the rat.

I am a Gemini through and through. I was born in the year of the tiger.

Aquarius born in the year of the rooster.

I'm a water pig and a Capricorn.

I like to joke with my mom that she got a pig baby because pigs are her favorite animal.

Gemini, year of the fire tiger.

Aquarius, rising sign Gemini, Year of the Fire Rabbit.
And now I'm imagining a flaming bunny looking at its reflection next to a pond.

Fun fact: I thought I was a Dragon for 25 years, but then it turned out I was a Rabbit all along. Which is an interesting concept for a children's story, actually. I can see it now: "The Rabbit Who Thought She Was a Dragon". Available wherever books are sold!

I was born in the year of the snake, but I was born before the Chinese New Year, so technically I'm a dragon. ;) And an Aquarius.
How do I find out what element was in that year?

I thought that too. For years I thought I was a rat. I think at least 20 I thought I was a rat.
