I have a The Cult CD I just listened to yesterday, lol

Not sure if White Zombie is from the 80's, but if so... then they're on my list too. And Blondie... actually a lot of the band from the Bride of Chucky sound trak...

Bangles, Blondie, The Police, Joan Jett, Pat Benatar, Dire Straits, and Enya. They're most of what's on my iPod. Even though I'm a teenager I'm really not into pop very much, so I listen to all the stuff my parents did (60s, 70s, and 80s).

Madness
The Specials
The Selector
The English Beat
Blondie

Genesis/Phil Collins
Thompson Twins
Psychedelic Furs
Tears for Fears
Men at Work
Blondie
REM
ELO
Depeche Mode
Donna Summer
The Police/Sting
Duran Duran
Morrissey/The Smiths
Bryan Ferry and Roxy Music
Cutting Crew

I also love many misc. 80's songs from various bands. :hearts:

There are a few British bands, but I can never remember their names. They were mostly all one hit wonders.

Yes, I found a huge list of 80s artists and type them on this reply.
I'll keep this list for myself cause there are a bunch that I need to get CDs of some day. ITunes won't know what hit them when I raid their massive collection. heheheee

I was born in 1986 but still love a lot of '80s music, like...

The Smiths
The Cure
The Stray Cats
Adam Ant
Adam & the Ants
Kylie Minogue
The Housemartins
The Beat
Josie Cotton
Sparks
Prince
The B-52's
Devo
Dolly Mixture
They Might Be Giants
Salt 'n' Pepa
Divinyls
Crowded House
Ratcat
Mental as Anything

I'm pretty sure loads of those bands formed in the 70s but they were still making music in the 80s...and I could honestly go on and on and on! I don't have a favourite decade for music because it's all too good but I do have a soft spot for the 80s!

Oooh I do enjoy Kylie Minogue too. ^-^

I listened to country back in the 80's so i missed out on the big hair bands. i only recently got into them

Umm, I only listen to 80's music :surprisepony: I like it all!

Was only born in 89 but I do like madness so does my little brother :)
and by far my favourite singer and will probably always will be is Michael Jackson, first concert I ever went to was his, it was his History tour in London think I was about 5yrs old. Don't remember much except for the fact that I was on Dad's shoulders the whole time, we had a spare ticket some people outside were asking for tickets to buy remember Dad saying to one guy you can have it if you buy my Daughter a Pony. Never got that pony as I still have that ticket but always remembered it.

:D

I'm so totally 80's!

I still listen to:

Til Tuesday
Pat Benatar - I saw her in concert in 2001!
The Cult
Thomas Dolby

and probably tons of others but I still have CDs of all those listed.

In my late teens/early 20's, I was heavily into hair bands. Then a couple years ago enjoyed some New Wave but my most favorite band will always be Tears for Fears. I grew up listening to them. I don't think anyone can ever match them, both musically and vocally. They were way ahead of their time. I have every album (and Roland's solo album) and enjoy each thoroughly.

Can't wait for the new album to come out!
