Well apparently my kids do. I was trying to organize their rooms today and decided to lay out most (not all) of their dress up stuff to make sure all of the pieces were there. A few are MIA, but check this out. Do I spoil my kids or what? Sorry for the bad pictures, I took them with my cell phone.

PS. I may or may not be wearing a WW tiara and cape while I type this ;)

Oooo! That is really neat! Awww..

Wow that is pretty awesome. What kid wouldn't go nutso over a group of costumes and accessories like that. I had a dress up box as a child. My grandmother made me fancy long skirts and a couple of dresses and aprons. We lived in those outfits as kids and when all my friends came over there was enough in there to go around. Most of the time the theme was we were orphans living in the forest all alone and an evil witch was after us. I had rabbits and we would put them in my doll clothes. They were our little baby brothers and sisters. Those poor rabbits. LOL

Tula - That is awesome. We did not have many dress up things outside of Ben Cooper costumes we had left over from Halloween. I did have the She-Ra dress up set thought with the plastic sword :)

You know this photo set isn't complete without you rockin a WW cape and tiara! Awesome playtime stuff

Awesome stuff! When I was a kid I didn't have some dresses scarf etc but those just looks awesome!

Thanks :) I try to keep them away from screens and really give them a ton of things to help use their imagination. Lots of dress up and pretend play and open ended toys. It is funny because even with all of those things my son still makes elaborate dress up costumes out of paper, glue and ribbon. He wants to design cosplay costumes and go to Comic Con when he is older. He just turned five :)

My husband makes armor costumes. I will try to post some photos of him sporting the suits he has made. He is loves cosplay and is very involved in costuming. I just need to give him another sewing lesson. He said when he needs to make a cape or pants he must be able to sew on the machine himself. I so know he can do that. He has a mind for it. I saw him eyeing the costume that CA wore in the last movie. I figure he will want to work on that one next.

Here he is in one armor Stormtrooper he made:

Here he is in his Animal suit. We had help with the mask. I made his hand, arm and neck fuzzies for that muppet look.

We love costuming. I am determined to make a few for myself as well, but I don't want to be a character like DH. I did have a very elaborate Xena series Gabrielle costume made back when the series was still popular and having conventions. I had her red velvet costume. I was 29 years old at the time. No way am I going to wear that now. ROFLOL

We did take pictures, but I have no idea where they are because it was before the digital camera hit our home. I really liked the Gabrielle character. I was a total Xena addict at the time. I have the entire show on dvds. I always hoped for a movie, but have long since given up on that idea.

Yeah Lucy was on Agents of SHIELD this season, but it was brief. I am not sure what else she has been up to. Hey, if they can make a new Full House they can make a Xena TV movie ;)

Nice costumes! :D I often wish they'd had all these "dress up" outfits back when I was a kid. All I had was a Lone Ranger mask, plastic cowboy hat and a pair of six-shooters in a plastic holster. And the mask was hung on the mantle over our fireplace and started to melt. Oh man did it ever smell! LOL It was warped after that.

I was really into both Hercules and Xena. Iolas, Gabby and Autoloclys (sp?) were my favorites. I believe Lucy was also in a movie called Bats a few years back.

Yea I was so into the Xena series, I was totally bummed with the ending. That is why I wanted a movie. LOL I just felt lost after that was over the way it ended. I didn't watch Hercules for some reason.

OMGZ That is awesome! My boyfriend would be so jelly of the clone costume! Lovin the Animal too

He actually gets a lot of requests from people to appear as Animal. For some reason people love it when he runs around making wild noises ROFLOL. Even the kids like it which surpises me. I would figure if they saw that running around they would cry, but very rarely do I see that. Most of the time they giggle uncontrolably. Amazing. I was the type of kid that would not go near anything in a costume or wearing a mask. I was terrified of wigs also. So it was a no go for me. I would not cry, but I would stay away. Mom had a miserable time with me at Disney World when I was 8 because, I just would not allow her to take my photo with those Disney Characters. I remember just being really embarassed by them. LOL I did not want to be seen near them. So in the photos you can see Snow White and I am like way on the other side of the photo on a bench looking away ROFLOL. I am not shy one bit either. I can be very extroverted if I want. I do have a serious side to me though. Its funny because, I can be extremely silly and then all of the sudden very serious. I wan't interested in being associated with weird looking characters. Not even Mickey or Minnie. Poor mom. LOL I still won't do it. If a character comes up to me I run off. I don't know what my problem is. Mr. Potato Head didn't bother me much and I didn't mind having a photo made with him (So odd I can't explain it).
I remember once I was minding my own business eating a treat at the Ren Fest when this horrible masked evil thing was behind me. I had this sense something was behind me so, I slowly turned around and my husband shot the photo as the color drained from my head to my toes. He was so awful I almost blacked out. Seriously, those kind of things are not funny.

Awesome! You look so pretty! I love your costume. I wish I would have known about Comic Con and Cosplay when I was younger! I would have loved to have gone and dressed up :)
