I found an ebay auction for a small lot of five ponies. Person selling had no idea who they were and hadn't grooming and was very up fornt that they were dirty and needed washing. The picture was not the best either...

I figured what the hell, bid a little more than $2 per pony and at the very least, I'll have some custom baits. So the auction ends at a mere $6 and change. I get the ponies to day and...

The SS Gusty is PERFECT! A few very minor discolorations to the glue under her flocking... but her flocking is completely intact except for the tinest of rubs to one ear tip! The tip of her horn is fine, the other ear is fine, even the rims of her hooves are thickly flocked!

I haven't even cleaned her yet and look!

Those strange spots on her rump are not on her, that's from where she was pressed against the glass of my scanner. But she's so pretty! Even pre-washing.

The Moondancer's symbols are nearly gone, so I'll CB her. Same for Sundance since I have like three of her. Baby Cotton Candy just needs to be groomed and repinked and she'll go in my trade box. Tropical Breeze needs to be washed and conditioned and she'll go in my trade box too. I am so KEEPING SS Gusty though!

Not a bad little lot for $6 and change, huh? ;)

wow nicely done! And if that tropical breeze is going spare .... :p
heh, kidding, I'm overrun with flutters that I don't know what to do with. SS Gusty is so pretty! Well done!

Congrats on the great win. SS Gusty alone is worth a lot more than what you ended up paying for the whole lot! :D

ebay

I love ebay auctions like that-well done on a great find.
*is jealous about SS Gusty*

Wow! What a great surprise! Congrats! :D
