Yay!! Thrift store find!!! :)

Very excited! I decided to pop into Value Village tonight as we happened to be nearby....I haven't been for months!

I found:

Sunbeam (year 2 Unicorn)
Firefly (year 2 pegasus)

They are actually both in what appears to be excellent shape -- just need a bath!

They were $1.00 each!

I already have my childhood Firefly, but I figured I could always use her for a future trade perhaps...

Anyone else have any finds lately?

Wow, that's great that you found some! I haven't found any at thrift stores in a long time. But I do find them at my flea market.

Hmmmm, I had no idea (although I probably should have guessed) that that kind of stuff went on at thrift stores. Sigh, guess I'll have to start watching where I donate stuff to now - maybe a reputable charity would be better since the last thing I want to do is help line the pockets of an antique store dealer or an Ebay dealer. That might explain why I never have any luck finding ponies at the local thrift stores.

thrift store finds? As et, none... BUT I was sorting some junk in my attic for a car boot that'll happen soon and I found my Baby Cotton Candy! And my old G2 ponies (for sale if you want them as I don't collect G2 ponies).

I feel really cruddy now about thrift stores/charity shops... I guess I know where all those "Oh they were here yesterday" ponies went...-_-
