So here's the story:
I live in Washington state, which, as you know, is located in the United States. (Ie: North America)
I'm a thrift store junky, and quite often do I find ponies of many different shapes, sizes, and generations, but NEVER of strange origins. Well... Never died.
Last week at the local Value Village as I was browsing through the toy baggies, and weeding through fakies and Mc Donalds ponies, I came across a very peculiar G1 Bluebelle. She was extremely dirty with black crayon and other various marks, but through all the dirt and grime I noticed her large, vivid her star symbols, and strange pale blue eyes. I already had a Bluebelle in very nice condition (Remnants of my childhood herd) and I *almost* put her down. But then... *Suspenseful music* I turned her over and low and behold, her hoof said "Italy."
At this point, I almost died out of pure excitement. I screamed and started bouncing around the store chanting "I found an Itallian, I found an Itallian!" My friends cleared and pretended they didn't know me. People stared and giggled. But I didn't care... "I found an Itallian."
I'm sure this isn't such a rare occurence for some folks, but for me it is. I've never found anything foreign here in the U.S. I only have one other Itallian pony that I recieved as a gift from a German exchange student a couple years ago.
I took her home and gave her a scrub-down with a Mr. Clean magic eraser (Boy those things work wonders on ponies) and she cleaned up exceptionally well.
Just had to share my story...
