Making Tails!
Step 1: Buy some plastic Cable ties. I like the 4 inch sized ones, and they come in packs of 100 or more, so you should have plenty. ;)
Step 2: Remove the old washer and clamp with 2 pairs of pliers. For pics of how to do this, see the De-Rusting tutorial. If you're working with new hair, you can obviously skip this step. ;)
Step 3: Wrap a tie around the middle of your tail, and cinch it tight. Now pull the ends of the tail until they are even.
Step 4: Loop another ziptie around the leftover portion of the first tie, and slide it down over the base of the tail. Cinch it tight.
Step 5: Clip the excess from the ties and you've got a new tail! Because it's plastic, you don't have to worry about it rusting or degrading over time, and no more rattling ponies either! :D If you have any questions, please feel free to PM me here at the TP, or post your question in the Customs forum! *sings* "Happy Taaails to you...."
