So, with a world that has so much negativity and bad things that seem to happen it's easy to get caught up in all the fear/worry/sadness. It has become so easy to take the little things that are good in our lives for granted. But I would like to offer a place to change that.
Here is a place to post anything that has made you smile today-- a funny story or situation, that lonely dollar you found fluttering in the parking lot, the last flower of summer that made you grin. Share anything smile worthy or that made your day a little more beautiful!
I'll get started:
Today I helped a little girl--who looked about 2 and a half and was afraid to leave her kitten with us to be spayed--come back and choose the pen, blanket, and a toy for her little furry friend. Before she left I promised that I would keep an extra close eye on her kitten and stay with her through her entire surgery. The little girl gave me a huge smile and hugged my leg before following her mom back out the door. I was so glad to help her feel more comfortable with everything. (And yes, her kitten went home just as playful as when she came in and the little girl was thrilled to have her back!)
