@cutekitten yaya I can't wait to see this doll you are describing. I love fixing and customizing dolls. I am hoping I will help other people see how wonderful they are even when they are creepy. I don't put my dolls in the bedroom at night until they have been in the house long enough for me to get use to them. I have terrible PTSD and eyes play tricks on me. I sit them in chairs and place them in beds and cabinets around the house. I will say that R2 has told me when he walks through the dining room late at night a doll I have has scared him silly on several occasions. ROFLOL She has scared me too just because she is big enough to be a toddler sitting on that chair and when you are sleepy it is creepy.

@Taxel Oh Miss Cutie Pops my favorite. I have had mine out with their little dogs all week. I can't get enough of them. They are super wonderful. Oh and here is the doll after I fixed her up. I made her this dress and popped a wig I had on her and tried to style in a 1950's flip although it is pinned due to the length of the hair. She should be in braids and I will eventually find her a wig that is original. I actually got her walker walking again when she decided to throw herself on the hardwood floor from the dining room table. When she landed something snapped. Her head fell off and I am not even going to tell you how hard this doll was to re string the head back on. I said a few choice words let me tell ya. She does not have a hollow head. She is made so strangely. When I got her all together again...all of the sudden she was working like a dream. Go figure I have no explanation to give.

I'm so bored and ran out of life for the day

So I'll rummage my phone and see what crap images I have stashed

Um xD

I suppose these are relevant to something somewhere....

@tulagirl she look so cute I have a walking doll from the 30's. Your restoring skills are top draw my dear. My walker is a boy and is dressed in roman clothing. Does your girls head and eyes move when she walks? Mine does.

This is Bea. She wants you to know she has a splitting headache. She doesn't like being creepy, but she was not stored properly and will need a lot of work to get back to what she should look like.

Petite Sally Doll Circa Date 1934

Just look at that sad face. She is simply miserable.

I want to see a photo of your walker. I have never seen a 1930's walker in person. Do share.

@tulagirl Cutie Pops are definitely my biggest weakness! I really want to complete my collection one of these days. There's not much I'm missing. Thank goodness I got the UK releases when they were still in stores!

And she looks so cute fixed up! You did an amazing job with her. Its hard to believe she's the same doll. Her wig styling is just to die for. Adorable!

I found this old photo of a Blythe knockoff I used to have. She was really bizarre looking and arrived in that odd wedding dress.

And to mix things up a little, an action figure I got for my boyfriend at the dollar store. The sunken head wasn't just a problem with this exact one. Every single one of this type had it, like the mold itself was sunken! Gotta love dollar store toys.

@Taxel Oh those are super cool. Love the figure and the wig on the doll above.

Okay I found this and I was in disbelief. Why oh why did we need the big "D" in a doll diaper? Please tell me I am wrong. My worst thought it the hope it wasn't scratch and sniff.

Oh goodness ROFLOL. If only real diapers could be cleaned with a small glass of clear water. Tee heee

I seem to remember a diaper rash baby doll from the 1970's what the heck was that dolls name. I remember I wanted it. ROFLOL

@tulagirl Oh my gosh, that's horrifying! Who would ever think that's a good idea for a doll?! I'm stunned.

Of course you wanted the diaper rash baby though xD

This reminds me of my two Moxie Girlz Poopsy Pets, though at least the pets "poop" weird objects instead of actual poop...

Yes, that's jewels that the koala poops.

They were even popular enough to get a second wave of naturally colored animals! Panda with bamboo, elephant with peanuts, and tiger with.... striped eggs.

Yes I have seen these. I just love the packaging so much. "I poop rainbows!" "I poop glitter!" Yay what a delightful thing. whoo hoo

Apparently there is something new going on. Kids are using chocolate pudding in any doll that takes a bottle or some sort of food. Really this is not a good idea because it is a food product that will carry a lot of bacteria and there is no way you can clean it properly inside a Baby Alive doll. I saw on you tube where they are doing this. It is so bizarre I have no words really. Its all the rage. I had no idea, but the sad thing is adults are having more fun with this than children. Seriously, I don't want "P" in my doll diapers. That is just taking things way too creepy weirdo far for me. I watched a you tube video today where an adult had a reborn doll and she put chocolate pudding in its diaper and made a video of her changing the doll. I thought I had seen it all. No, there is so much more out in that world. It is a scary place. I am staying home. Baaaaaa

I can't explain what it was about the diaper rash baby when I was a kid. It was something new I guess and I was curious about it. My dolls went to the hospital a lot. I had them in handmade oxygen tents with string iv's and all sorts of fun things. So, I guess it was that medical side of me that wanted that doll. After all I took a red marker and put dots all over my plush lion and my dad was furious. "Why did you do this?" he asks me. "Oh, he has the chicken pox daddy."

ROFLOL

All he could do was burst out laughing. I said it with such a serious look on my face. I didn't care we would never get the dots off. I was ready to treat him over and over. I wanted to be a doctor. LOL Grandfather was a doctor. I guess it is genetic.

Baby Frosting is awesome. I'm just sayin'. Send all your BBEs my way!

I'll have to dig out some of my creepier stuff. I have a lotta old porcelain dolls that fit the bill. Now the saddest thing I own is an old photograph from the 1920s of a small boy in his coffin. I purchased it at an estate sale. The woman told me no one wanted the photo, and it was the only photographic evidence of the little guy. His only picture and he was already gone. And even sadder, no one even remember the little fellow's name. So I named him Reginald Teapot Happydancer. Because I think he was a joyful little fellow during his short visit on earth, and I wanted his name to reflect it. I won't share it, as I know it would upset many, but it really is a tragic piece.

Yes the post Mo? something photos are very sad, but the children are so beautiful in many of them. Life cut short...so sad.

I'd buy more if I could, they're really very lovely. My tastes far outstrip my budget. :D

I do collect the old cabinet photos when I find them cheap and have some really awesome ones. It's sad when the family lets go of such treasures.

Here a new Boy for ya'll to see of mine

He is a 1938 ish Walker doll don't know the company only thing I know is that he is a walker and the year he was made is on a card that is somewhere in my paper work from the place I bought him from.

He is dress as a Roman or Grecian person that is what drew me to him. I love dolls with more then just pretty dress or creepiness or yes hauntedness ( is that a word).
He walks as he does his head turns and his eyes open and close. He has teeth I rarely like dolls with teeth but his are cute there not a plastic but iono what there made of. Sadly this poor boy was cheap for one reason that I will not show to protect his um Privacy. His bottom as it was busted which is good and bad. Bad as in aw man the poor doll is busted but cool in the fact you can see the mechanics which Allows him to move so to me its cool.

His name is Remus after one of the twins founders of Rome if I ever find another like this I will get him and have a Romulus.

@tulagirl Oh goodness, that chocolate pudding thing is just... bizarre! I can't even begin to imagine why anyone would want to do that. Kids I could see, at least, but the adults... wow o.o I'm glad I find reborn babies far too realistic to not be terrifying!

@Ology I love your boy! He's so fascinating. (And that Penny Ling is adorable!)

And now, another offering of creep! A Liv doll without a body. This is probably my #1 creepiest doll photo.
8315614019_7b7188dbe3.jpg

I displayed her on my shelf like that for ages next to MH Deuce. She got put back on her body later, but not before I cut open her head to give her new eyeballs.
8509321036_8462db2da8.jpg

These aren't her permanent eyes (way too big for her!) but I wanted to test them out and she needed something to fill the holes.

And this is why I don't buy dolls.. too creepy :D Even ordinary barbie will freak me out :'D I can imagine if I wake up in the middle of the night and Barbie/doll would stare at me from a shelf... I would be screaming and having nightmares :D

Oh I think we can come up with some great photos for @h1m3.
I don't have a glowing eye barbie, but that would not be hard to make actually. With those tiny little lights they make now you could easily make glowing eyes, but they must be red right? @Taxel
I will have to post a photo later. I have a doctors appointment.

@tulagirl Ooh yes, that would be easy and spooky! Like Twinkle Eyes, but instead they're Glowing Eyes xD

I don't have any dolls with glowing eyes, but I do have one of those glow in the dark Bratzillas. She looks creepy and noseless under normal light, due to the color of her skin, but the glow makes her look totally radioactive. I keep her hidden away in a cabinet so she can't glow and freak me out, haha.
