Hey guys, I just picked up a second Sea Breeze yesterday and when I compared her to my current Sea Breeze I noticed a few large differences.
First being the drastic colour variation. The new one is a dark deep orange and the older more light orange. I know this can just be factory and different batches and so on.
The second, the new pony has no fading pink in her tail. Where as the original (to my collection) has a lot of fading pink in her tail.
Lastly, the new one’s plastic seems to be “thicker” than the original. Like there’s a noticeable weight and feeling difference between the two.
Both ponies have the same hoof markings “Pat. Pending, Hasbro ‘87, Made in China” both have the same symbols and eye paint. Fading pink is much more pink still in the newer pony... I know most of this is likely factory defect but just curious if anyone has heard of variants like this with Sea Breeze or not? I may keep both because they’re both stunning and in beautiful condition... lol. My pony hoard starts here. #eyeroll
