So. I've been keeping my hair super short ever since my neck surgery. It's just easier to care for. I also had bangs since I'm half Irish and have some serious freckling on my forehead. What can I say? I only care a small amount about skin care and hair care. I keep it simple. Anyway... here's my hair now. That short piece on my cheek was bangs cut in February! lol

Is anyone else looking forward to a hair cut? My girl is certainly yenning for one. At this point, I might just grow mine out again.

But your hair looks great, this haircut really suits you. :) Oh yes, I'm sooo longing to see my hairdresser, even though I have thin, straight hair it's hardly brushable anymore after washing it, and it's never been so long! It takes me about three times as long just to detangle it. I normally have very short hair or to the base of my neck, but now it's half way down my back. I think I'll use that de-frizz lotion I actually bought for ponies next time I have to wash my hair.

I have long, fine hair so I am lucky that after a few Youtube tutorials, I was able to trim mine myself! I would love to do a gentle toner though, just to get the brassiness out...I'm thinking of going the esalon route for color...has anyone here tried that service before?

I tried trimming my own last year and almost ended up with a mullet. :lolpony: I could cut my daughter's, but she just adores the experience of having her hair washed and chatting with the stylists.

I was a dog groomer, lol, I gave my yorkie layers. I can still do it, but, whatever makes my girl happy.

Thanks @IceCrystal it's finally past the awkward stage of growing out, so I'll probably let it grow for a while.

Yes, I know what you mean @Tak , as I've had very short hair and then let it grow several times. There is a certain length that looks just odd and you think "no way I'll let them grow, this looks awful" and while you're debating whether you should really book your next hairdressers appointment so soon after the last haircut, they suddenly grow to a length where you look into the mirror and say to yourself "hey, it doesn't look so bad after all, does it? I think I'll let it grow for a bit longer after all...". :lolpony:

I am growing mine out but it needs a trim up so bad

I wish i had straight hair like ours! Mine is so hard to tame because it curls naturally... :lolpony:
My mom has curls. My girl has a little. It's so hard to get it to do what you want. However, think on this, it's easier to straighten your hair temporarily than deal with the chemical damage from a perm. I envy curly hair. <3 Though I completely understand the struggle. The more kinky the hair, the harder to tame. Personally, I love kinky curls looking all wild, but I understand. It's always easier to think that the opposite of what you have would be better.

For me it's just my girl, my service dog, and I. She says that she's always going to have me live with her. I say "we'll see". She's my sweet stubborn Taurus. She wants her own account on her, but I said no forums or social media until she's 16. I'm such a meanie! lol My little brother still lives at home with my parents, but he's 35.

I'm old!

Mine is becoming a rats nest in the back. I have wavy/curly-ish hair and tbh, I have kind of neglected it since I haven't been needing to go places.
Luckily for me, even before quarantine, I would trim my own hair since I'm super picky about who cuts it. However, it might be time to hand it over to a professional once hairdressers reopen.

Your hair is so long and thick! Beautiful!
You have such beautiful hair @cannibalcow ! :ponylove: You're just cutting the tips I hope? :D

Thank you <3 it only just stopped falling off after the whole baby is out no more pregnant thing that hair does, huge relief :lolpony: yes I usually cut an inch or 3 off everytime I dye it, so just the tips :)

Oh my, when I was pregnant my hair grew down my neck a good two inches! I was so relieved that it fell out afterwards.

I typically wear my hair up in a messy bun or pony tail, but I realized yesterday just how long it’s gotten again. It’s about mid back now. Since my ms diagnosis and being on my meds for it, I’ve lost a lot of hair (side effect of meds) and it’s thinned a lot. So much so my hairdresser was in shock when I saw her in November. Because of how thin it’s gotten it tends to get frizzy if I don’t put product in it (I haven’t used product because I’m going nowhere lately). But with product I have nice natural loose curls/waves in my hair, my friends say it’s “perfect beach hair.” Not sure if that’s good or bad. Lol
