Hey! We collect board games too! (And don't play nearly enough of them...) What types of games are you into?I have a small model railway collection and I also collect board games (and sometimes even play them, when I find the time ).
Oh, cool! Actually, I'm mainly into storytelling games, like the 7th Continent, Harry Potter: Hogwarts Battle and I still have an unopened copy of Legacy of Dragonholt, but unfortunately, nobody in my gaming circle is into thematic games.Hey! Well, this is less than half of what we own...Oh, cool! Actually, I'm mainly into storytelling games, like the 7th Continent, Harry Potter: Hogwarts Battle and I still have an unopened copy of Legacy of Dragonholt, but unfortunately, nobody in my gaming circle is into thematic games.
My best friend likes both types (thematic and strategic), but she spends most of her time abroad on humanitarian missions, so we haven't been able to play a game for ages. At our local gaming group and with my boyfriend, we mainly play mid-weight strategic games like Dungeon Petz, 7 Wonders (Duel), Tzolk'in, Everdell, PARKS, The Isle of Cats, Dice Forge and trick-taking games like Wizard, The Fox in the Forest, Claim as they seem more popular with the people I play with. My boyfriend and I also like to play escape games from the Unlock! and Deckscape series. What games are you into?
Yes, that's Wingspan. I bought it for my husband as a Christmas gift. It is a pretty fun game. We really like birds, so it is fun to try and "collect" different species and there are interesting factoids on most of the cards. It's not a very deep game, which some more hard core gamers would say is a detractor. But it's engaging and fun.Wow, what a great collection! I recognise many games from browsing BGG, but I haven't had a chance to play most of them yet. I love Splendor as well, I don't own a copy yet though, just a digital version for my Android tablet. What is that game with the yellow bird, is it Wingspan? If yes, do you like it?
Yes, I haven't nearly played as many games as I would have liked lately either. As soon as my final exams are over, I have every intention of playing more frequently.
I’d love to see the hello kitty ornaments sometime that sounds cool! I have a little set of 6 hello kitty ornaments all in different costumesSnow/glitter globes! I have quite a few Breyer horses as well. I also collect dolls from different countries/traditions. I have some cute traditional Japanese dolls as well as some Mexican ones.
EDIT: I also have a collection of Hello Kitty Ornaments!
If anyone wants, I can for sure take and post photos of any of my collections!
I also have collected stuffed animals, but not really actively unless something truly catches my eye. I have WAY too many stuffed animals, but then I get so attached to them to sell or give away It's almost overwhelming how many I have, but I think about them in a landfill or with a kid who treats them like Sid from Toy Story and urrrgggh. It's kind of a problem cause now I want to make room for some pony plushes
I'll see if they're in the attic or my closet and take a picture! That set sounds neat!I’d love to see the hello kitty ornaments sometime that sounds cool! I have a little set of 6 hello kitty ornaments all in different costumes
Oh yes, I totally forgot, I also collect Disney pins, but only very specific ones: Pegasus from Fantasia and Baby Pegasus from Hercules. I'm still looking for a few.I've got a huge pin collection! I collect Disney Pins, Olympic pins (focusing on Vancouver 2010 and Calgary 1988, with some Athens 2004, Beijing 2008 and a few others), and Expo 86 pins mostly... with a few other fandom + general other pins that catch my eye.
Cool I love hello kitty (and my melody) so it’s always fun to see new things with themI'll see if they're in the attic or my closet and take a picture! That set sounds neat!
Oh, I have a lot of Hello Kitty things from when I was younger. I have a cute mailbox tin from when they did the America the Beautiful Hello Kitty line! I also have a TON of the mega blok hello kitty sets, but they are all mostly disassembled and packed away. I'll try and get photos of some of my Hello Kitty things!Cool I love hello kitty (and my melody) so it’s always fun to see new things with them
Mine are packed away with the rest of the ornaments but I’ll try to remember to snap a few pics come christmas time when we pull them all out
