I usually use eBay, but I've returned to pony-buying after a long time away and can't help but think prices are trending higher than they used to be on there. I can't tell if ponies are actually being listed too high, though, or if that's just my frugal self perpetually trying to find ponies for cheap  I've also seen people use shopgoodwill and mercari, though in my experience those places have less of a selection so nothing I'm looking for has managed to pop up there yet.

Where do you usually go to shop for ponies? Or do you stick to the forums instead of seller websites?

I like ecrater.com, etsy, amazon or target for new stuff. Mercari, Facebook marketplace, offerup, and shopgoodwill are ok, too. Ebay is still one of the best if you’re looking for a specific pony in specific condition.

You're right about pony prices being high and snipers are being nastier than ever. I stick mostly to eBay and Mercari but I will also shop here and the Arena. I know some people will shop facebook.

Good to know I'm not imagining things :p maybe I should give FB a shot!

Didn't know about ecrater or offerup, I'll check them out. It does seem like eBay has the most range, you're right.

I mostly use Mercari and Shopgoodwill. Shopgoodwill is only really good for lots, though. Also, it's a gamble on the condition of the ponies you receive. eBay does seem pricey, but I do agree that it has the best selection for specific wants. I also buy off here and am in some Facebook groups for ponies where people will have sales or live auctions.

Aside from thrift/antique stores.

I buy from here, the Arena, Facebook groups (MLP & vintage toys), Facebook marketplace, Goodwill online (can be extremely difficult to get good G1 lots for a “good price as they often go for dumb amounts), TRU online & friends/family. Lol!! (I have everyone looking for me all the time.)
