Fundraiser Terms & Conditions:
  • All donations are final and non-refundable.
  • 100% of proceeds go toward the cost of running the site.
  • There is no guarantee that participants will be chosen for a prize.
  • Some prizes may be in gently used or used condition; not all prizes are brand new nor in mint condition.
  • All items will be shipped with a tracking number. Prizes may arrive in multiple shipments depending on where they are shipping from.

  • Contributors:

    • You must provide the entire list of available prizes (located below) put into order from your MOST DESIRED to LEAST DESIRED in order to be eligible for prize drawing.
    • You must provide your entire shipping address, including a full name, otherwise we will not be able to ship a prize to you and you will not be eligible for prize drawing.
      • Your list of preferred prizes and your full shipping address must be received by 11:59pm EST on Saturday, July 10th in order to be eligible for prize drawing.

      • If your list is incomplete (ie: does not include all prizes listed) and your number is drawn, but the prizes on your incomplete list have already been spoken for, you will be issued a prize at random.

      • If you do not submit your list, you will be issued a prize at random.

      • If you do not submit your full shipping address, you will not be able to receive a prize if your number is drawn.

      • If you win a prize, your prize will be shipped to exactly the shipping address you supply. A full name and address is required for shipping purposes only.

      • It is your responsibility to check this thread for updates, as well as to check your private messages and emails for communications and updates about the fundraiser.

      • Email updates will be sent automatically to your registered MLPTP email address only. Please make sure this setting is up to date in your MLPTP profile.

      • For fundraiser matters, please do not contact the mods or admin outside of the MLPTP forum.

      • By participating in the fundraiser, you agree to the above Terms & Conditions.

To clear up any questions about sending your list of prizes, as there have been a few:

With a smaller event, we would be able to simply message winners one at a time as they are drawn, for them to choose their prizes. However, with 70 participants and almost 40 prizes, and the fact that people cannot and do not always respond promptly to messages, doing things this way could easily take the rest of the summer. It was done this way when the MLPTP was under previous ownership, and the process simply took far too long.

By providing your list of preferred prizes, the process goes extremely quickly and easily, and we are able to ship out all prizes within a week.

Here's how it works:

1) We will draw 36 numbers (the number of prizes) using random.org.​
​
2) Then it is simply a matter of referring to the first winner's list, and sending them the first prize on their list.​
​
3) Then we refer to the second winner's list, and send them the prize at the top of their list. If the first winner already chose that prize, then we can easily move down to the next prize on the second winner's list.​
​
4) And so on, so forth. This way, all prizes are divided up amongst winners within 24 hours, and shipped within 5-7 days.​

I'm grateful the email came out, made me able to sit down and make my list yesterday :flutter2:

Sure it took me a few minutes to make the list, but I bet @MustBeJewel has had to make *a lot* of lists and whatever else is needed to organise all of this with prizes, names, donations and everything else needed to put this whole thing together. I look forward to this every year, but I'm sure it takes a lot of time and energy out of our dear admin.

So I hope everyone makes their little lists for quick and easy sorting and shipping of the prizes.

Big hug for everyone making this possible, all the donators and everyone keeping this wonderful place as wonderful as it is <3<3<3<3
 
It’s pretty easy to do if you’re using a desktop/laptop and not a mobile device. Just copy paste the entire list that Jewel posted into a document/new message window, and then you can drag and drop the order that you prefer and then copy paste that whole thing into a new message. And you could have the actual pictures of the prizes up in a separate tab in order to refer back to, because I know that’s what helped me out. My brain has become Swiss cheese over the past year and a half so looking at pretty pictures helps me. XD

Thank you to everyone who has gotten in touch with their lists and shipping information--you are a HUGE help to make the fundraiser wrap-up a quick and easy process! <3

For the record, in terms of those who have not yet gotten in touch with us: We have sent 2 emails through the forum system, a PM here on the forum, have posted on our MLPTP Facebook page, and just now, have sent an individual plain-text email directly through the email client. At this point, this is the most we can do to try to get in touch with everyone participating. Please refer to my post above regarding the fundraiser terms and conditions. And please understand that with this many prizes and people involved, we simply cannot wait for each person to individually choose a prize when their number is drawn, as it could take all summer that way.

Next time, the process will be expedited and made even easier--however, our software developer was unable to have it ready for us to use this year.
