The person I got my new bearded dragon from had gotten them from a rescue. He though they did not care if he adopted them out. So now the rescue wants them back so I am loosing Brooklyn for good. You’d think the rescue would be happy they were adopted but nooooo they just want to rip them away from people who care for them.

I could be wrong, but I don’t think they can actually do that? The person got the animal from the rescue, that means it was his at that point. I don’t think they have any say in what happens after that unless the animal is in danger. How did they even contact you to try and take him?

They contacted my friends brother. They said the guy his room mate was just suppose to watch them he was told to find them home he said. So me and my friend took them their in SC while I am in AL getting ready to move

Hmm so are they trying to find a home for him? If so then I don’t understand why they would try to take him from you. I hope you’re able to talk to them and keep your little guy

So, I’m having a pretty major (but life changing) surgery on Thursday and I have to be self isolated now until then. As I sit alone, I am starting to worry more and more about this surgery. I’m also worried for my Mom who will have to take over a lot of what I do in my home and I don’t want that added on to her already full plate. Ugh. I’m just a bucket full of worry and anxiety right now.

I can't move my arms!
My employer coordinates several volunteer activities throughout the year, did a day with Habitat for Humanity today, my first time doing one. Schlepped 16 windows (4 were double size) into a house, that was raised off the ground but had no steps. Then had to lift 12 of those windows up above my head to second floor cause again no steps just a ladder. Lemme tell you, windows are HEAVY. Then installed 4 of the windows, all on second floor which required going out onto scaffolding and taking each heavy window out with me cause apparently they're installed from the outside (learn something new everyday). I am beat! I work in a OB/GYN office, doing medical admin, the heaviest thing I lift everyday is a pen, maybe a ream of paper LOL
I think I'll stick with baking cookies for the Ronald McDonald house, that's more my expertise
but my windows look really good, nice and neat, straight, sturdy, caulked and sealed!
